Stretching my work limits
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I took on a job for a lady friend to remove a 30"+ tree that had fallen in her yard. Unfortunately it wasn't a light task and a few of the branches were overhanging the power line to her house. Being I only had a chainsaw and a helper to hold the ladder I was out of reach of this one branch.......when I thought to myself "hang on I have a power head that I'm pretty sure takes a pole chainsaw". A quick trip to Home Depot and the job and probably my over stretched butt were save and completed with no injurys

    Great reach
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for years now. No issue. Reach is great. I trim about 200 trees around the yard with this yearly.

Assembly was easy although with it fully extended it's a little tough to reach out over your head with the way it's balanced and the weight of the pole saw. The deer love the trails cleared out thanks to Ryobi

I would recommend this Pole saw. It would cut through limes faster than my Husgravan 33cc 18" chainsaw and safer because you didn't have to be in the tree next to the lime you were cutting. Very handy piece of equipment to have if you have trees that need trimming in you yard.

Took down a fallen pepper tree in less than two hours
I bought this for my 40v Ryobi cordless power head (RY40225) after an old pepper tree in my backyard got too top heavy and split in half. While I wouldn't want to abuse the thing trying to cut the stump (because it probably would), it managed upwards of 7"-8" branches with little effort. See attached pic. Am I happy with this? Of course! It should be noted that this was all done on a single charge. I even knocked a few branches off my fruitless mulberry with the remaining battery charge. We use Stihl HT 131's at work and this thing on a 40v battery pack gives the Stihl a run for its money. It's not as nicely balanced (I don't use straps) or as powerful as an actual pro power pruner, but it does the job it was designed for. Highly recommended for the average homeowner with a few trees to manage.

        chain keeps loosening up
I bought this today to use with my husky 128LD. It worked ok for a short while but then the chain loosened up and it jammed. I unjammed it and tightened it only to have it loosen up again 20 mins later. This happened at least 5 more times in the 2-3 hours I used it. Finally, The chain fell off the bar and wouldn't go back on without taking everything apart. I'm not messing with this piece of junk anymore. It is going back tomorrow. I hope to find a pruner that isn't made of mostly plastic and won't need to be tightened over and over and over.

        Great purchase
The pruner is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Works well with our TORO string trimmer. Attaching the pruner was simple and a perfect fit. The pruner cut through surprisingly large branches.

Best investment I've made this year.
I was able to trim all my trees. This would have cost $500 by a contractor. Cuts smooth and reaches high. Includes a 3 year warranty.. Love It.

        Great little attachment
Thought this was a cool gadget when I bought it and with Home Depot's easy return policy I figured I could return it, if it was just cool toy. It is not a toy, it is a full blown tool. But folks lets be serious here it is not going to make you a lumber jack!!! That being said; I did not give the Pruner 5 stars for two reasons; I own a couple of chain saws and am familiar with how much Chain oil they use and this little trimmer uses way too much. It went through the entire reservoir in under 10 minutes. While on the bright side it kept the chain nice and sharp. The Chain Guard for storage is JUNK and difficult to put on I have to figure out another solution. I found no issues others have reported about poor quality, not so at all. As for jamming, NOPE no problem either. As for stuff getting caught in the clutch area,,, not much at all. Cut through two 5 inch Dutch Elm bundles that I could not reach with my Chain Saw in just a couple of minutes. One was old and hard as a rock!! Overhead branches 2 and 3 inches in seconds. I have not had the need to use the add on extension yet but it will come into play in the future. All being said it is a great and useful tool.

        Ryobi Expand-it pruner
Aloha from Hawaii. I researched and checked several of the possible pruners that would fit the LHER Propane power head. None fit very good to not at all, until I found the Ryobi-Expand it pruner. This unit fit perfect and worked as advertised. I took it out of the box, read the manual, filled the oil reservoir and went to work. Within an hour I had pruned 6 trees high enough t let in the sun. The reach is good and the power head light enough for an guy like me of 68. Just for reference the Lehr and Craftsman Propane trimmers are the same.

Does a great job and was easy to manipulate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is amazing. I had lots of dead branches in my fruit trees, and it made quick work out of removing them. The tool was easy to control and I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile it is.

          Sweet Pruner Attachment.
I purchased the Expand-It Pruner Attachment a couple weeks ago and boy do I love this thing. I've used it for removing under brush and saplings in the woods around my house. The extension length is prefect allowing me to cut the brush down without having to fight with the limbs to get access to the base of the trees. All in all it's pretty light weight and easy to use as well, which is great for those of us that are older and past our prime.

            Almost 5 stars
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to make it easier to get into thick honeysuckle patches. It worked fantastically. I have made at least 400 or 500 cuts with it and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. I will say I am a bit disappointed in the fact that the bar oil leaks out when not in use. I have to drain the reservoir when storing it or I will find all the oil has leaked out into a puddle on my garage floor.

Spent more time puting the chain back in place than actually using it. It feels a tad fragile. By the way, I have a chainsaw and I know how to use it.

                Seems well made.
Seems to be well made. Easy to change attachments. Used it to trim a few branches so far. Did well with good power. A little heavy at end when fully extended but don't think it could be made lighter without loosing quality. Overall very satisfied with attachment.

Right out of the box after adding the bar oil and installing on trimmer, it cut everything I could reach that needed cutting.

Had store employee help me get it out of the locked cage and when I got home it had been used and returned. It was sold to me as new. I didn't want to drive all the way back so I tried it out and it worked as it should. The chain oil had been opened and you could tell that wood chips were still in the blade.
