I bought this with a shelving project in mind. This thing is small and lightweight and got the job done in spades. I used it to shoot the laser lines across the wall vertically and horizontally without issue. I also used it to make sure my L brackets were level when I put them in before attaching the shelves. The pin it comes with to tack it to the walls worked great as well. I was very happy with my purchase and look forward to using it in many more projects and finding a few other creative ways to use it as well due to its size.
This thing is very handy and I was completely surprised by it. It is very small, can fit in the palm of your hand, but is really useful. The bubble levels are pretty spot on and the laser line is very true. Great for the diyer or homeowner.
Best leveling gadget ever. Small, easy to handle & store and pin to the wall for easy hanging tasks with a simple thumbtack. Definitely would recommend this to friends. 10 feet is plenty for the average user and the beam is bright enough to see under lights.
Buy it - you'll like it! (And it's good for you, too.)
The Ryobi ELL1500 Laser Cube is a great find. This level is inexpensive, easy-to-use, and handy - it fits easily into anyone's toolbox. The pushpin feature makes for a simple, brain-free mounting process; so easy a caveman could do it... It's perfect for those quick-fix, DIY projects where crooked is not a good thing, e.g., picture frames, shelving, wall-mounted flat panel TVs, etc.
My TV turned out awesome, by the way...

I had my doubts after using a couple other laser levels, but for the price I had to try it. I love the manual leveling feature; and then when you have it in place, you can stick the supplied special thumb tack in through the tool, into the wall, to hold it steady.
The Laser line is straight and accurate, don't know how I got by without this one.

Very small and portable. The laser is pretty accurate, but I had a hard time keeping it on the wall with the pin that it came with. The instructions also suggest using an adhesive strip, so I might try that in the future.
