Customer Reviews for RYOBI ONE+ 18V 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery

I have quite a few of the One+ batteries and they all seemingly work very well in my assortment of tools and outdoor equipment. This particular unit PBP005, appears to be an updated version of the P108. Both are 4 Ah's, but this newer unit is rated at 74 watt hours, whereas the P108 was rated at 72 watt hours. A small difference, but that and the change in the colors on the battery are what leads me to believe this unit is an updated version, otherwise they are identical. Regardless I expect excellent performance from this unit just like I get from my P108's.

This battery came without any sort of instruction book. That is the reason for a rating of four. I will have to research on home depot"s website how to use this. I had gotten a very nice glue gun to use in some hobbies so I knew this would come in handy. But if you are someone that already has quite a few cordless tools this is excellent. It is compact and not heavy at all. It fits in the palm of your hand. But I wonder did I need a cord to recharge this? And how will my cordless tools fit to this. Probably going into a store I can get someone to demonstrate too. That has always worked in the past. It would have been so nice though if it came in some packaging with instructions or a book as it says it was supposed to have.

Meet every bit of my expectation. Cut through tree limbs with my saw for over 2 hrs and still had a half charge left.

Purchased the two pack to provide additional runtime for stationary Ryobi products. Although it is a little heavier than the 4AH, it’s a great addition to my RyobiArsenal.

Very powerful stapler for the cost. Gets staples flush into cedar lumber even without using the highest setting. With that, I simply have no need for something more powerful such as the $200+ power stapler offered by other brands. Would definitely recommend

USUALLY RYOBI PRODUCTS ARE GREAT... THESE TWO BATTERIES ARE, OUT-OF-THE PACKAGE, BAD. ONE DOES NOT SHOW BATTERY ENERGY LEVEL AND THE OTHER SIMPLY WON'T CHARGE...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ryobi tools are reliable. We bought extra batteries so we don't have to keep swapping them out. The battery charger I have had for 10 years works on all the batteries.

I bought the battery for my RYOBI Lawn equipment.(I have the mower, edger/weed eater, blower and power washer.), I am about to mow the grass edge, weed eat, and blow my front yard on one battery. With power to spare. They are awesome!

These batteries are a big difference from the regular batteries that come with the combo sets. Much stronger and noticeably longer lasting. The charge just as fast as the regular batteries.
