Didn't know these existed! Haven't used the sander yet, but can see its value. Bought a 50 pack of various grit belts to go with it. I don't know how many times I have sanded by hand where the sander I was using couldn't reach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my purchase, I've used this handy tool several times, and have found it to be lightweight, meaning I can use it for long periods without fatigue. It's also really easy and quick to change belts, so sanding down to fine surfaces is much simpler than with other sanders. It also lasts a long time on one recharge. Overall, this is the best sander I've ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tool to replace my old air operated tool. This belt sander is very easy to control and the variable speed makes this the perfect tool for both light and medium removal of both wood and soft metal.

it was up to my expectation in it"s performance.

Liked the convenience of being cordless, the motor housing was a bit bulky to work around, raw power was only OK. For the benefits it has, I bought it for $139 but also found a corded model for $35 that worked even better albeit it also had a cord. If the price was even in the $50-$60 range I might have justified the cost for the cordless capabilities, but $100 difference? Nope.

From finishing molding edges, to smoothing rounding corners for style effects, this tool is versatile and safer to use than other cutting devices. Plus, it's very easy to change belts for the proper grit for the job.

Perfect for roughing off stubborn bark for live edge wood. Gets into small spaces, and has plenty of power for the 1/2” belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the results aren't as nice as properly hand-filing, they're achieved with a boatload less effort and time. Unlike the popular angle-grander/flapwheel solution, one can properly abrade from edge-to-rear for a superior edge. With a 60g belt, this makes pleasantly short work of even an extraordinarily dull (think airplane wing) blade. It is also very quick and easy to balance a blade after sharpening both ends. This is a great solution

Great Tool! I was surprised how powerful it is....and gets into the tightest spots. We used it to sand hard to reach spots on our deck - For example underneath rails. Great for spots that a palm sander cant reach.

You have to use such light pressure or else it stalls. It just feels like a toy in your hand no matter the size battery you use. 2.0-9.0 it stalls almost immediately if you put any kind of downward pressure. Funny all the reviews involved in the “seed program” talk about how great everything is

It works great for sanding it tight areas and in inside rounded detail work
