I was sick of hanging shelves and building small cabinets with a screw driver( believe it or not it’s possible but not easy and I can laugh now), finally got the Ryobi ONE 18V 3/8” drill I’ve been wanting for several years now, and I love it! It’s very quiet, easy to use, durable and made hanging my last shelf for the cat super easy! Much easier than hand screwing the first 3! Highly recommend!

Disappointed in the power it has when using as a drill. Max speed is 600rpm. Good for driving screws, yet not good for drilling. Charger is 6.5 watts and takes several hours to charge even the 1.5ah battery. Good weight. Uses a different tyoe of belt clip that I have not seen at HD.

This is so fantastic to not have to drag around an extension cord or setup my project near an outlet! It's my first purchase of a power tool for myself and I'm going to be getting more Ryobi tools so I can use the battery with them too.

Leverage and weight distribution when using hand tools is a big bonus at this age. My husband and son both use Ryobi products. I was tired of the super heavy corded drill I had. Fairly new and great product but I needed to lighten something up somewhere for safety. I like doing things myself.

Very pleased with this as opposed to the older models that had to be charged as the battery did not last. This one lasts!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I replaced my old corded drill with the Ryobi 18v driver, I was worried at first that I will not have enough power to do my project. However these worries are long gone. I can do everything I did before with no problems. As a bonus, the tool is much lighter than my old drill and this is a blessing for an old man.

I received this as a gift to replace my corded drill for easier use. However, the little charger it came with was not strong enough to charge the battery. After calling Ryobi and complaining, they sent me a better charger. Then I was able to charge the battery and use the drill. It is lightweight and easy to use.

Our Ryobi started making us feel professionals as we started working with it. In addition it gave us the confidence to start drilling holes in walls of our first dream home. I was too stubborn to admit that it needed to be replaced so my wife bought me this, and I'm glad she did. The power difference is noticeable and it's compatible with other Ryobi One tools I have. Happy to have such a powerful drill, but still in a small package. Great value for the price!

The trigger is so precise and allows me to start slow when tapping screws, but also has enough power to get in small places. I've been using non stop and have only charged it twice! Game changer for replacing my staircase spindles. I'm not the handiest, so projects take me a while to plan out, but with this drill at least i'm not worried about the tools which lets me focus my efforts on the project itself!

Great build quality and no over heating. If the rest of the Ryobi tools are as well built as this I might invest in the a couple more
