The price is excellent to. Some companies charge multiple times that amount for the same or less than the amount of power and quality

This is a well-designed tool that inspires some confidence. I've worked on cars all my life, and have used various electric and pneumatic impact guns. This one has worked every bit as good as any other I have used. It will remove lug nuts with ease! The biggest challenge I have given it was when I replaced the front wheel hub assemblies on my Jeep. There is a very large 32mm nut that hold the driveshaft onto the hub assembly. Those nuts almost universally get seized, and the threads get rusted. A quick spray of lubricant on the threads and this Ryobi Impact Wrench had those nuts off in under 30 seconds. Made the job SO much easier! This is a great addition to my extensive Ryobi tool collection.

This is the second Ryobi impact driver I have owned. Both have experienced chuck failures. The first impact driver lasted a little over 2 years. This driver has been in service only four months and doesn't get heavy use. The failure is obviously due to a poor casting; a quality control issue. The features of this driver; adjustable speed/torque, lighted chuck, and the high capacity lithium battery pack, are nice and the gun certainly generates good torque. But now I am without it for weeks while warranty repairs are done. I will see how the warranty experience goes and update my review accordingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago. Does a great job. I hardly use my air impact wrench any more. It's powerful and a nice size, not to heavy. Also, the light is a nice feature.

I bought this to drive 12 inch long lag screws into the turf at Burning Man to anchor my shade structure. It screwed them into the ground without hesitation. I brought 2 of the large Plus1 batteries but it never even discharged the first one. I started driving stakes with a hand sledge hammer for my tent after completing the shade canopy and changed up and grabbed a handful of the lags to stake out the tent. Easy-peasy.

Every household and every technician should have this in their toolbox. I also bought the 3 piece masonry drill bits for a project and it drilled through it like butter. I noticed many upgrades from the older models (blue) and the lights on this unit come in handy.

Lightweight for its size and adjustable speeds make it durable for most jobs

Weak. My 1/4 impact takes off lug nuts much faster.

First time Ryobi has let me down, and hard. Claims 300 ft-lbs, and I only needed 150 to break the anode hex nut out of the water heater. Turns out this thing can't even deliver half of what it claims, and I know this for a fact because I used a 200 lbs torque wrench that knocked it out just fine. I'll be returning this and getting a real impact wrench

This purchase is a gift and I found it on clearance at $75.00!! What a bargain!! I don’t know anything about how well the tool works but the price is right:)

I purchased the Ryobi 18V impact three years ago and have used it approximately 12 times for rotating the tires on both of my vehicles. Unfortunately, just 26 days outside of the 3-year warranty, I encountered an issue with the #3 speed selection – it is not functioning properly. This raises concerns as it seems like a design flaw. Potential buyers should be cautious and aware of this potential issue.

The mechanic's friend. I enjoy working on my cars and motorcycles, but at 68 I look for ways to lessen the physical demands on my hands and arms. This speeds up disassembly and breaks loose all the tight fasteners.... though I would never tighten a fastener with it. Great addition to the other Ryobi tools I have.

I was hesitant to buy a battery powered impact wrench fearing a lack of torque, but the Ryobi 1/2" Cordless works great. I have used it break free the bolts on my truck's disc brakes. Don't know why I waited so long to buy one.

Got this to zip car lug nuts off and on, works great. Was able to loosen bolts that were previously tighten down by a Milwaukee m18 1/2in
