I like this sprayer. It's better than hand pumping, and provides a smooth stream of pressure. It would be nice if the power button was a toggle so you could make sure it's off before you put the battery in. I also should have gotten the two gallon tank for my yard.

I bought a sprayer for herbicide, works pretty good so I bought another for insecticide, I planned to buy a third, a backpack sprayer. The second sprayer includes a charger that uses a wall transformer. I absolutely hate wall transformers. There is no way I can plug it in to the powerstrip I use for battery charging so it is going back. I have owned dozens of tool battery chargers over the years and this is the first I have ever seen with a wall transformer. Maybe the first sprayer I bought is going back too since I am not going to have two kinds of sprayers. I also bought a work lite because I have two Ryobi batteries and two chargers. That is going back too.

Great product! Good to go out of the box! Works great! Was able to spray my whole fence line on one battery charge. Whole unit pressurizes super quick. Only thing I would like different is a bigger tank and a shoulder strap. It does have hooks for a strap but I took the strap of Munich ryobi pole trimmer!

        LIFE SAVER!
I previously had the Craftsman version of this but it was so annoying because one battery would barely last through the tank. this one, I am able to go through dozens of gallons while I fertilize all of my plants with watered down concentrate as well as QUICKLY being able to spray all my yard for weeds. tons of uses and all very simply. I love that you don't have to take all apart each time to refill also. the big valve is positioned to where you can just untwist it and leave the rest together. AMAZING PRODUCT. also love the hands free option

I needed a smaller, light weight electric garden sprayer and this Ryobi sprayer does the trick. I really like that the tube on the wand is metal with an adjustable brass nozzle. The pressure isn’t very strong, stream may go 7 feet at the most but it does the job spraying weed and bug killers. I didn’t like that the pump kept running when the trigger on the wand was released so I installed a pressure cut off switch. The pressure switch is adjustable and costed around $20, including the fittings, to add. This extended the battery charge life quite a bit, too bad it doesn’t come standard from Ryobi. Some people might think I just blew the warranty by doing this modification but I just increased the life of the sprayer and battery way beyond the warranty life. I also put some dense foam inside the handle housing to help cut down the noise when the pump runs. Now it’s 5 stars.

Five stars for what I think it was designed to do, and that is spray weed killer and other water soluble chemicals. The battery lasts a very reasonable time, assuming you spray maybe 10 seconds and rest 10 seconds, it will empty its 1 gallon tank no problem. It did a great job with both the Weed B Gon and Spectracide clover killer. The nozzle outputs a range of spray patterns almost exactly as my RoundUp 2-gal pump sprayer. I also used it to spray Qwik Seal surface sealer over wire-brushed-and-rinsed stucco before applying Behr Ultra Exterior by roller. The Qwik Seal is water clean-up but will dry hard and would probably gum up the sprayer if allowed to dry in the hose and the nozzle. So be absolutely sure all your chemicals are truly soluble and then run 15 seconds seconds of clear water thru when done. The nozzle comes off and is easy to unplug if necessary. I already owned more Ryobi One Plus tools, so getting another charger and battery that came with the $79 sprayer was a nice deal !!

Absolutely LOVE it! These days it's hard to find a sprayer that doesn't require you to pump...let alone one that's affordable. A few years back I found a sprayer that I liked, not loved, but it got the job done. It died last summer and I haven't been able to find a replacement...until we came across this one. This sprayer is light weight, easy to fill, and I'm loving the adjustable sprayer tip! Every time we are in need of a new tool, we always check the Ryobi line at Home Depot. And every time we purchase a Ryobi 18-Volt product from Home Depot, we fall in love all over again. Ryobi...you did it again! Thank you for making our lives easier =)

Fantastic device, just like all the other 18-volt LiIon-powered Ryobi devices I own. Fantastic family of tools and appliances. This one allowed me to spray insecticide around my property effortlessly and in one tenth the time. No more sore hands from pumping or squeezing handles.

This is a great little sprayer. The fact that it is handheld and cordless is a huge plus. OK lets be completely honest. This is a relatively inexpensive and cheaply made piece of plastic, but for less than 50 bucks it is certainly worth it. I was looking for a low cost solution for a garden sprayer, and this was it. Unfortunately, on the first use, the plastic latch that holds the reservoir cracked off, and I will now need to replace this item. Fortunately, Home Depot makes the exchange easy enough and I will replace the cracked unit and I then will continue to use this tool...

              Cup-Cap broke in a month
I was very excited about this product, and ordered it from Home Depot Webstore (here) and got it about a month ago. I must confess that for the month it worked it was great. Today when adding weed killer concentrate using the graduated cup/cap the bottom split off and poured concentrated HDX weed killer all over my hand, workbench and pants. Not happy. Doesn't work well without a cap!

              I like this sprayer
I like this sprayer a lot. It comes with the battery and charger. You can use the charger for all your other Ryobi 18v batteries. The wand is a nice stainless construction, with nice brass fittings on the end. Way better than you see on other pump style sprayers. I ran over 14 gallons of liquid through the sprayer without killing the battery. It takes about 5:30 to empty the tank on stream and 5:10 on spray. It is really nice to have a steady stream the whole tank giving nice even spray over the whole area. I wish you could see if the unit is on or off, because it is easy to put the battery in the unit and have it start running without your knowing. Mine came shipped in the on position.

              Convenient Spraying
I've tried a few different types of garden sprayers in the past, and the most annoying part of using them has always been having to stop in the middle of spraying and pump up the pressure by hand. This Ryobi 18V One+ Chemical Sprayer solves that with its battery powered pump that lasts tank after tank on just one charge. The kit comes with the sprayer pump unit with a one gallon tank, a 1.3 Ah battery (model P102), and a multi-chemistry charger (model P118). For most tool kits I'd prefer two batteries to be included to avoid down time during projects, but the sprayer uses so little power that one battery should definitely get the job done. The sprayer has a rubber booted on/off switch that activates the pump, and a separate trigger for the spray handle. The trigger can be locked on for continuous spraying without having to hold it down, and the wand can be removed from the unit for two handed spraying as well. There are hose clips on the removable one gallon tank to keep the hose out of the way if you want to use the unit with one hand too. There are loops for attaching a shoulder strap too, but one is not included with the kit. I was impressed by the quality of the brass spray tip that Ryobi decided to go with too. Most garden sprayers I've used have a cheap plastic tip that can wear out quickly. The spray pattern can be easily adjusted from a 90° misting fan to a solid stream that projects about 8-10', just by twisting the nozzle. Battery life is great - I went through 10 tank fill ups without recharging, and the unit was still running at full power. I actually didn't end up running the battery completely empty, since it takes about 6.5 minutes to empty the tank, and after over an hour of testing I got bored and quit. The battery charges in about 45 minutes, which is actually pretty slow considering I have other 18V systems that can charge a 2 Ah battery in half that time (I was a bit amused at the "90 minute quick-charge" branding used on the sprayer kit description). There's also no battery fuel gauge on either the tool, the battery, or the charger, so there's no way to tell if you've got a full charge or if you're running on empty. I do have to give Ryobi credit though for keeping ALL of their 18V batteries compatible with ALL of their 18V tools. That's something most other power tool brands can't claim. Overall, this cordless sprayer is a great solution for pest/weed control, and spraying fertilizer. Hopefully Ryobi will make spare tanks available for a reasonable price, so you won't have to worry about super-cleaning all herbicide out of it prior to spraying fertilizer.

Great cordless sprayer for small jobs
This is a great sprayer that comes in handy for those small jobs so I don't have to get out my large sprayer. It works well and is comfortable to carry around, although a carry strap would have made it easier. It is a bit noisier than I expected, but that is not a problem when outside. I do have other Ryobi One+ tools, so this is a great addition to the collection. PROS: -No need to pump manually -Includes battery and quick Intelliport charger that fills 100% in about an hour and has status lights -Includes clearly illustrated instruction books for battery, charger, and sprayer -Easy to fill tank with measuring cup and secure latches on the side -Nozzle is brass and adjustable from fan to stream -Easy to detach tank to clean thoroughly -Power remains constant until battery is drained -Comes with a 3-year warranty CONS: -Handle is plastic and came with deformed threads that made it difficult to assemble - a brass handle would have been much better -Carrying strap is not included This sprayer is not just for spraying chemicals, and I have found it very helpful while my hoses are in winter storage. I have used it for rinsing the mud and snow from my tires before parking the car in the garage. I also use it for spraying tub and shower cleaner - no more tired and sore fingers from those trigger sprayers!

Works Great, Strong Spray, Comes with Battery and Charger
If you have lots of gardens, sidewalks, or live in an area with pest problems then you are used to using hand pump garden sprayers. Well, hand pump no longer! This battery operated sprayer from Ryobi allows you much faster and efficient spraying of pesticides, fertilizers, weed killers. The best part is it works with other Ryobi 18v packs and the included battery works with other Ryobi 18v tools. Everything you need is included. Sprayer, hose, wand, 1.3AH battery and charger. All you need is your chemical of choice. Assembly takes ten minutes. Attach the hose and the wand head and charge the battery. SPRAYING: The tank has a one gallon capacity and has a large fill nozzle with a built in 4oz measuring cup as the cap. The tank can be removed for cleaning. Fill the tank with your chemical and then press the on switch. The pump primes itself and it's ready to go. You have control over spray with the wand, press the lever and it shoots. Spray pattern is variable with the brass nozzle. This sprays a large volume of fluid and can reach much farther than a pump spray, allowing you to get way under eves with pesticide and up under decks. It will run through the entire gallon on one pack charge. It's pretty quiet when running. You can talk over it. Cleaning is easy, detach the tank, wash it out, then run water with a bit of dish soap through the pump. The wand snaps into the handle for easy storage. Overall I do like this machine. I have so many areas to spray for carpenter ants and lots of sidewalks and beds to keep weed free. This makes the job so much faster and easier. I'd recommend this to anyone, especially since it comes with Ryobi's 3 year warranty.

              Finally a Sprayer!
Finally a 18v sprayer from Ryobi!!!! There has long been a need for a value-priced, portable, rechargeable sprayer and this unit fits the need. Sprayer came well packaged and included the Sprayer unit, a Hose, Spray Wand, Battery, Charger & Instructions. Assembly is quick ... 5 minutes or less and required no tools. The basic assembly includes hand tightening the spray want to the hose & the hose to the pump unit - charge the battery - fill with fluid of your choice & go! The package includes the basic Ryobi IntelliPort charger with indicator lights. This charger haas a standard 2-prong household plug & reasonable cord length. The base can sit on a counter top or be wall mounted. Also included is a basic Ryobi Lithium 18v P102 battery. This battery appears to the smallest, lightest Lithium battery in their lineup and best suited for small, short duration jobs. The sprayer unit feels well built and includes a detachable 1-gallon tank. I was glad to see the latches that secure the tank to the pump/handle are metal & securely latch in place. The spray wand assembly was also metal, including the adjustable spray tip. The trigger control was plastic & features an easy to use "steady on" method by depressing the trigger with your thumb & slide it forward to lock on. I found the spray hose to be long enough, even for a person with a reasonably long reach. The fill spot on the tank is 1.5" in diameter making it easy to fill thus decreasing the chance of spillage. The cap to the tank doubles as a measuring device in both Standard & Metric volume formats. The power switch is conveniently located away from the handle to prevent accidentally turning it off & is covered with a rubber boot. The whole assembly, even filled, is relatively light & features two shoulder strap loops but no strap is included ??? The only "miss" in my opinion. Use: The motor is a little noisy & took a short bit to pump up to pressure the first time. Shooting a full stream (adjusting the metal nozzle tip), I was able to get about 20' of stream distance horizontally without a great need to "arch the shot". Shooting higher up something like a tree, I would not expect 20' of distance. The carrying handle also doubles as a location for the spray wand assembly to lock into for storage or carrying. Little tough to get it pushed in place but does work well. Overall, I am quite pleased with the features and performance of this package setup. It will surely replace my need to pump a manual sprayer again for tasks like week killers and bug sprays around the outside of the house. Only change, other than including a strap, i'd like to have seen was a way to seal the 1-gallon tank at the pickup hole so that multiple tanks could be bought & stored with a variety of purposes; bug sprays, weed killers, etc...

              Love This Baby!
I am so glad I got this battery operated sprayer. It’s one of those products that until you’ve used one you just don’t realize just how much better it is than the tool you were using. This product replaced a 2 gallon manual hand pump sprayer I had been using to apply pesticide, weed-killer and cleaning product. Although the manual sprayer was adequate, it was becoming a real nuisance to have to stop spraying every few minutes in order to recharge the pump by hand. Also, carrying around 2 gallons of liquid can get “old” after a while and cleaning out the bulky reservoir was no fun either. This Ryobi product was a joy to use. It is a well-designed compact and lightweight unit, with a 1-gal capacity. Fluid capacity was more than sufficient for me to apply pesticide around the full perimeter of my 3000 SF home. The reservoir has a wide-mouth for easy filling, and the cap serves a dual purpose as a small measuring cup (see picture). The reservoir easily detaches from the pump with two latches, making cleanup a real breeze, and allowed the power unit to be placed a safe distance from running water. Cleaning the reservoir with water and then running water through the hoses/wand before storing the unit, is something I suggest all users should do to help extend the product life. The spray wand handle fits neatly into the top of the pump handle, making for neat stowage when the unit is stored (see pictures). The pump comes with a small 18v battery & charger, which will probably feel like it could run “forever” given the small load the pump places on it. When spraying fluid, I could discern a small hum of the pump motor, and the hum changed distinctively when the reservoir was nearly empty – a queue that a refill was needed. Otherwise, the translucent tank made it easy to observe the fluid level. I was pleased to see that the pump was able to use nearly all of the fluid in the reservoir, meaning no wasted fluid storage space so that you can pump a full gallon of fluid before having to refill – a feature that many manual sprayers can’t seem to accomplish. The knurled metal fittings at both ends of the wand suggest durability and long-lasting life as compared to the plastic fittings used on so many comparable products, and changing the spray pattern from a strong narrow one, to a fan pattern (or anything in between) was easily accomplished with a twist of the knurled fitting (see pictures). The one suggestion I would make to Ryobi, would be to pre-assemble (and test) at the factory, the hoses that lead to the sprayer and to the wand. Although this is certainly something the homeowner should be capable of doing (I did this without problems) it would (1) eliminate the need for tools (pliers), (2) avoid improperly threaded fittings and (3) eliminate the possibility of leaks. It is good to see this product comes with a 3-year warranty because I wondered to myself what would happen to the pump motor if it was inadvertently left on for extended periods when the unit is left idle (not pumping)? The pump is activated by a small button and as mentioned above, it is audible when it is on, but if the user happens to be operating in a noisy environment, I can see how it might be left on if they were otherwise distracted. I am pleased to say that this product worked very well for me, and I would recommend it to a friend.

              Great sprayer, No pumping!
The Ryobi One+ Lithium-Ion cordless sprayer is a compact, well designed, handy house hold sprayer that is a great addition to the Ryobi One+ line up. It comes with a detachable 1 gal. tank and a cap that doubles as a measuring cup. It comes with the standard issue compact Ryobi 18 volt Lithium battery Model P102 and the standard issue “IntelliPort” charger (see photos). Easy to use with a simple on/off protected switch, a thumb operated valve and adjustable brass nozzle. The sprayer is constructed of high density polyethylene and other corrosion resistant materials. It comes with tabs to attach a shoulder strap but no shoulder strap was included. It is light weight and user friendly. We found the pumping flow to be comparable to a fully charged, high quality pump up sprayer but without the hassle of endless pumping! We have provided photos and a short demo video, we hope they help.
