The fact that I can use the same battery with all my Ryobi tools is just icing on the cake. Another plus is, this Impact Wrench did not lose any battery power after I used it. It is an awesome tool! Would really recommend this to everyone looking for a great affordable impact. This will do everything you need it do WHILE maintaining battery life. Overall impressive performance for the price. 100% recommend buying this tool. Plus with these batteries they work with a ton of ryobi’s other tools if you decide to buy more.

I purchased this online as a combo deal with 2 free tools. The drill was DOA when I received it. I took it to the store to see if they could exchange just the drill and was told they could not because it was bought as a combo deal. I ended up having to ship it to a repair center last week and am still waiting for them to fix it and send it back. Very disappointing

This purchase blew me away. I have yet to come across a bolt this impact won't spin out. Ripped my transmission cross member bolts that with red loctite out like it was nothing. Great purchase and has instill great confidence in Ryobi's cordless tools.

Just what I needed for washing machine repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one of these for Christmas as part of a package deal with the hammer drill I'm very impressed with it I got to test it out the other day and the auto feature takes the lug up to the rim but doesn't start torquing it unless you pull the trigger again which at that point it will impact the lug on I love that feature seems very strong I can't wait to test it some more. My old impact was only 200 ft lb of torque and my new one is 1,170 ft pounds of torque a big upgrade

I bought this to replace a older porter cable impact and this thing blows it out of the water. There is no hesitation when breaking loose anything that I have been working on. I do almost all my own auto repairs and diy projects around the house. This tool will be used for all of that. I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace my ‘00 Honda CR-V’s rear passenger axle, and none of my tools would break the axle nut free. My small impact wrench was useless here. My breaker bar was flexing under the weight of my body standing on it as I bounced up and down slightly. Before considering risking using a torch in my apartment complex parking lot, I decided to buy this as a better alternative given the circumstances and given how it was the best-priced tool in this torque range. To my relief, this high-torque impact wrench broke the nut free in less than a second. I wish I had this tool from the start and saved myself the time. I’m eager to expand my Ryobi power tool lineup to be able to do more projects myself on my CR-V, my ‘89 BMW, and at home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this impact to remove rusted lug nuts on a 50 year old trailer. The lug nuts took a 1.5 inch socket and could not be broken loose with a 36inch 3/4 drive breaker bar but the ryobi busted them loose on mode 3. Next I'll be replacing the pinion seal on my truck the socket to get the nut off is a 1 7/8 but I'm sure this impact will do the trick. The Ryobi is much more compact and balanced in the hand when compared to my old impact. Overall great impact for heavy duty appliances, lug nuts on trucks/cars are a cakewalk for this beast.

WAY powerful than the OG version! Now, I'm more paranoid that I'll simply snap a nut. I only use setting 1 and 2 for routine vehicle work. I should've gotten the smaller P262 model for automotive work, but this wrench definitely met my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally Ryobi has released a truly powerful high torque impact wrench to compete with the other tool companies! I am a little annoyed they released the less powerful 1/2" a few months before. The auto mode is excellent you can use this tool to SAFELY fasten nuts and bolts without over torqueing (impacting) them as it will temporarily stop before the impact mode starts (this is in auto mode only). The tool is very well built-solidly manufactured with rubberized protection in all the right spots and a heavy duty metal housing for the motor.

Like my other Ryobi products this torque impact wrench does not disappoint. It is heavy, very well made and sturdy. I anticipate that it will last a long time. It is a very versatile tool. I used it the day after I received it to remove the lug nuts from a flat tire on my car and to put a spare on. It was easy to use and worked well. It comes with a three year warranty but I expect it will last a lot longer than that.

This Ryobi Torque Impact Wrench is a powerful 18volt electric tool. I was impressed when I installed the 19v rechargeable battery and hit the trigger to remove my stubborn mower blade. Wow, did it make light work of that fastener. You will have to purchase a battery and a charger.(both are sold separately) worked extremely well also to remove wheel Lug nuts

The RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V BRUSHLESS CORDLESS 4-MODE 1/2 INCH HIGH TORQUE IMPACT WRENCH is quite simply one serious torque monster. With four setting, it is ready for almost any task: Low (0-900 RPM), Medium (0-1,400 RPM), High (0-2,100 RPM), and Auto Mode 0-1,400 RPM). Auto mode offers protection from over-tightening fasteners, which this thing could easily do. My test for any cordless impact wrench is its ability to loosen lug nuts, which this impact wrench did effortlessly (torqued to 95 foot pounds). Weighing in at just under six pounds (with a battery), the Ryobi high torque impact wrench is definitely a heavyweight contender. The impact wrench has three very bright LED lights, which are bright enough to eliminate the need for additional lighting. Please keep in mind the tool is sold without a battery.

The wrench works just fine - However, the operator (me) needed to know more about how to use this type of tool before using it. Before I ordered this 1/2 inch high torque impact wrench, I had no experience using one. I asked my brother if I could use my regular 1/2 inch sockets, and he said yes, that he uses his sockets with his impact wrench. So, I put my socket that fits my lug nuts on my car, on the tool to see if I could loosen my lug nuts - which is one reason I ordered the tool. I don't like having to jump on a lug wrench to loosen the nuts to change a tire. I thought I had the socket on properly, but I didn't. The impact wrench chewed up my socket, and then the socket was stuck on the lug nut. I ended up having to take the car to the tire shop and have them remove the socket from the lug nut. So, does this tool have plenty of power? That is a big YES. Should I have purchased impact sockets before trying to use it? That is also a big YES. Will I benefit from having this tool once I get the correct sockets? Another big YES. One last note - the tool feels pretty heavy, but it doesn't feel awkward to use.

I have the the smaller 600 lb/torque Ryobi impact. This beast is 1170 lb/torque. Anything and everything, I work on including my truck lugs and trailer parts are easy to remove. Anything with rust is not much of a match for this tool. The 3 different speed setting are nice or flip it to "A" and that is the auto mode. I see merit in all the settings. It is a must for any DYI garage wrenchers. I can not give this tool a higher recommendation.

RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V BRUSHLESS CORDLESS 4-MODE 1/2 IN. HIGH TORQUE IMPACT WRENCH (TOOL ONLY). This 1/2 impact gun works great. I have had two other previous versions of this impact gun and they were not very powerful. Also not brushless. This one I used at work one night instead of my 1/2 milwaukee and it did great. Im also a heavy bus mechanic. I'm very pleased with this newer version.
