Excellent saw! I’ve used this a few times now on two different projects and have had much success accomplishing cuts. This product is light, and battery power very efficient to complete task. Highly recommend for anyone including DIYer and Professionals.

Performed way above expectations, inflated a 6 foot beach ball with one charge and also deflated it with the same charge.

I really enjoy using all the Ryobi power tools and the fact that you can use batteries and chargers with multiple tools without having to buy new batteries every time you purchase a new power tool. This nice compact circular saw cam with no charger and no battery. It is sold as a tool only box which worked out for me because like I said I have other Ryobi power tools that use the same battery and charger. This particular circular saw is much lighter to handle and much faster cutting speed with up to 350 cuts per battery charge. Comes with a three year warranty and the battery and charger are sold separately.

And it uses all the Ryobi batteries I've accumulated. This is not as powerful as some 7 1/4" battery powered saws I have, but it's also 1/4 of the price and much lighter. It's way better than the really small cordless saws and could be a replacement for light to medium duty corded models. It's perfect for chopping up pallets to go in the fire pit, rough sizing lumber in the parking lot so it fits in the truck bed, etc. The included blade is good for rough cuts, and it's large enough to get through 2x material easily

While I have a bigger corded circular saw I find that sometimes it is a bit of an overkill for my smaller jobs and projects. Other times I am just too lazy to lug it out for a little cut. With this being said I opted to get a smaller one. I realized the Ryobi had come out with a 6-1/2 inch cordless compact that was not only brushless but part of the 18v one+ HP system. I have several other Ryobi tools so I have plenty of batteries for them and this saw takes the same one. I opted to get the tool only version since I did not need extra batteries. This one operates at 4900 RPM and according to Ryobi is 32% faster cutting. I like that the depth gauge is adjustable up to 2-1/4 inches. Also that unlike my other saw it has a bevel angle of 0 to 50 degrees instead of the standard 45. I got all my cuts done without a battery change. It does seem powerful enough to handle anything I have asked about it without issue. I tested it out by doing the one set of steps for our deck and two sets of handrails. It did not even get warm on me so that is nice. I did notice that when I let go of the trigger it stops really quickly which is good. The overall weight and size of it is good and not cumbersome at all. However the size of the battery you use may change this I was using a smaller one. I think the aluminum base has some to do with this. I am loving the freedom to move around and cut wherever I choose without the limitations of a cord or having to drag out an extension cord. It really does make me wonder why I waited so long to get one! It does come with a blade that once you install as long as you have a charged battery on hand your ready to go within minutes of opening it. There is also an included attachment to hook to a shop vac but I didn't use it. The only real drawback I found is that there did not seem to be a wide variety of replacement blades available. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

So, I have allot of Ryobi products, I just never am disappointed with now with their brushless tools I continue to be impressed. The saw is built very well, and they include a blade as well. I use this saw primarily for cutting up dog ear fencing planks to carve sign, it sturdy and I do use it quite often, so I am impressed with it durability. You just can't go wrong with this Ryobi saw.

The ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless Compact 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (Tool Only) arrived a few days ago and I immediately put it to work. I installed the carbide blade that came with it and used the enclosed attachment to attach it to my shop vac to minimize the saw dust. I used it to build two birdhouses and I am really pleased how it performed. The saw is lightweight and had plenty of power for my project. I'm really pleased with this product and it definitely met my expectations.

I own the older 61/2” saw. This new HP saw is great with lots of improvements. First, it is brushless for longer run and more power. Next, the depth adjustment is now a lever instead of the turn knob. Cut depth is indicated on the blade guard and in sun it is hard to read. But it is better than the old one. The angle cut gauge is clearly marked. Also, there is a LED light on the front. Another improvement is a good blade stop and also a vacuum dust port. Overall they have made great improvements in this saw.

Ordered the cordless saw for small jobs where I don’t have power or don’t want to get out the extension cord. The saw is small and light weight but powerful enough for most household cross cut jobs. I like the precisely marked bevel adjustment that is easy to read and use. Also like the quick cut depth adjustment, the built in LED light to illuminate the cut, and the vacuum attachment to hook up a shop vac if you need to use the saw in the house. The saw comes with an Allen wrench stored on board to change blades which is convenient. The saw does not come with a battery but any of the One + batteries will work.

The RYOBI 18V compact brushless 6-1/2-inch Circular Saw is really an amazing tool. The saw is light weight yet is a solid, well-made tool. I have to say I am totally impressed with this saw. It comes with a thin carbide saw blade that cuts through wood with ease. With the brushless technology, the blade stops as soon as you release the trigger. The saw is 25% lighter in weight, 32% faster cutting and up to 350 cuts per charge. I've never owned a battery-operated circular saw before so I didn't know what to expect. I like it better than my corded circular saw. The saw also has an LED light that helps you see the cut line. There is a place to attach a vacuum hose to collect saw dust and the saw table is easy to adjust up and down or angled up to 50 degrees.

This model PSBCS01 is tool only – no battery included. I currently have 5 of the 18V One+ system Ryobi tools. This circular saw makes number 6. I already have three 18 V 3Ah batteries and charger. The batteries power all 6 tools. This circular saw is brushless and uses a 6 ½ in blade with a 5/8 in arbor. The saw comes with an “on board” stored Allen Wrench for blade changing. The process for blade changing is simple and easy. The saw is powerful and does most everything that a corded saw does. I tested it initially on 2 X 4s and the saw cut smoothly and quickly with little effort. It has an on-board LED light to illuminate the cutting area. There is a “lock off” safety button on the handle above the switch trigger and must be depressed before the saw will operate. The saw also comes with a vacuum attachment which can be attached when using a dust collection vacuum with a hose of 1 ¼ in or 1 7/8 in. The attachment must be removed when not using a vacuum. I have one negative comment about the vacuum attachment. The attaching screw has a T-10 star type head rather than the more common Phillips type. This was annoying as I had to locate my star bits. So I may consider finding a compatible Phillips replacement screw. Ryobi says that the full battery charge will provide up to 350 cuts. In my experience the optimal “up to” number is more realistically reduced by about half. I have not abandoned all of my corded tools which still come in handy for large projects, but am relying more on the convenience and portability of the battery powered tools. This Ryobi saw is a great addition to my 18V tool collection.

When I got this ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless Compact 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (Tool Only), I was a little concerned that it might feel heavy with the battery in it. NOPE. This cordless tool is lightweight and very comfortable to use. I love not having to worry about where the cord is (haven't we all cut or tripped over a wayward cord?). I can go anywhere and not worry about reaching an electrical outlet. It uses the Ryobi ONE+ batteries which are rechargeable and last a long time. Ryobi stands behind their products so if you need to call customer service with a question or issue, that are very helpful. Highly recommend this product and company

So glad I have a cordless skill saw. While it did not include the battery, I have other compatible Ryobi tools that can share the battery. The saw itself is about the same weight as a conventional saw, but without a cord it allows a lot more freedom and versatility. I look forwards to fixing my gates and replacing the boards. What’s great is the saw came with a blade, I’m sure I’ll be buying others in the future. Also, Home Depot currently has a sale on batteries,?so I am totally buying the 3-pack

ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless Compact 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (Tool Only). I really like this saw. I have finally upgraded my circular saw. I have had the old blue ryobi circular saw for years. This is a really nice upgrade. I really like the battery location a lot better. It comes with a blade. It has a depth adjustment. You can put a bag on it for dust collection, not with the saw. There is also a angle adjustment. This is a nice upgrade from my old one.

I have a smaller Ryobi circular saw that has been absolutely great, but I needed a slightly bigger one for those pieces of stock that the smaller one can’t get through in one pass. I have been extremely happy with the performance of the HP series, and this saw cuts through material like it’s nothing. The saw itself isn’t overly heavy which is great and lessens the fatigue on your hands and arms. The cuts are smooth and I really couldn’t say how many cuts you’ll get on one battery because I haven’t ran out of one yet. Overall, this is a great saw and I definitely recommend.

As the world of cordless tool changes. The Ryobi ONE+ 18volt tools just keeps offering quality cordless tools. My son was jealous of my cordless saw. Well once I seen this I knew I had to get this for him. This is a perfect compliment to his Ryobi combo drill set. So he already had the 18v batteries. Plenty of power from this saw. Cut my test 2x4 easily. And square as it should be. The saw does seem like it was built for a left handed person though. Not a deal breaker. Also this is a bare tool. Meaning battery is not included. But it does include a blade the Allen wrench needed to change the blade. And a plastic nozzle to divert the saw dust. Also Ryobi warranties this saw for 3 years.

Has a good runtime and the brushless motors has plenty of RPM's, claims 4,900 RPM. It also claims you get 350 cuts per charge to provide all day power, but I have not used it for a large project yet. Everything is easily adjusted for angle and depth gauge that can cut up to 2-1/4 in. deep and can bevel 0 - 50°. It has an aluminum base to be lighter It has a great sight line visibility with the LED work-light so you can easily see where your cutting marks are. I have several Ryobi tools and I love them all. This circular saw is no exception. The fact that it is cordless enables me to use it away from an electricity source. It is well made and sturdy. It is also not overly loud. In my opinion it is best suited for small jobs. I used it to cut some wood for fencing; it was easy to use and did a good job. This saw does not come with the battery and charger but I already had those. I am very happy with this product.

The fast charger is a much needed upgrade from the standard battery! 4Ah battery dead to fully charged in an hour! The High Performace battery it awesome. You better performace out of your tool and the batter last longer between charges. A much needed upgrade that I wish I would have done much sooner. Great product

Great product, scrubbed my shower stall down twice and barely touched the battery life. Just bought the sprayer as well for using shampoo and water for soap scum on walls and glass

Way too expensive for a toy. This is not a tool!

Works real good and easy to operate

I got this saw to replace my 7 1/4" corded Ryobi. This saw has more than enough power to rip pressure treated 2 material, which I do a lot. Saw weighs about the same with a 4AH battery, is smaller, and has no cord to bind, trip on, cut through, etc. And I can use where there is no power available. The only thing I feel I am giving up is a bit of cut depth that I don't need. I have not tried the included dust port with a vac, but that will be very handy if I use the saw indoors.

Excellent saw. I love the lightweight and it makes very accurate cuts. I cut 2x4s and 2x8s all day making a ramp .The saw had plenty of power and lasted all day on a single charged 4 Amp battery.

Saw works as it should.

It was an ok saw. I got it on sale with some batteries. Used it when I built my deck recently. Came with a free balde, but replaced it with a different one for a cleaner cut. It bogged down when cutting 2x6 at the end on a full battery, so that was a bit annoying. Big Ryobi fan since I'm a DIY/Homeowner. Would recommend to your average Joe who only needs it here and there.

Works well. Battery charges quickly vs the smaller charger.
