Replaced my old blue 18V Ryobi that still works fine. The new HP cuts faster and deeper. Its great when I am on a roof or a ladder, I don't have to drag an extension cord to make an angled cut on a 2x.

RPM and power are more than sufficient for typical framing and wood project needs. It’s light-weight as well, and easy to handle. Plenty of available 6-1/2 inch blade options. The light-gauge plastic blade shield will not survive a drop, so be careful! It would be nice if the dust bag were included, or at least made easy to order.

Saw base straight edges not so straight. Easy to damage saw height adjustment which also keeps saw parallel to base edge. If you dont carefully pay attention to the way you set saw down when your done it is inevitable that soon the blade will no longer be parallel to edge, then might as well throw it in the trash

Exceeded my expectations. Super lightweight, quiet, has plenty of power, and it actually last decent. Used it to build some shelves for the garage. Will be using it this weekend to build out my carport/carport. Adding a back wall with fans and tv mount, and building a bench for my mini fridge.

Being battery operated, means I now have the freedom to use this circular saw in more locations without having to drag out an extension cord. Great saw. Light weight but built very well.

This saw does a good job with balancing the weight of the gigantic ryobi batteries. I enjoy the soft start and electric brake functionality, and I'd say this is a good saw for basic small cuts. It does seem to struggle a bit with larger cuts and can feel sluggish.. For me this wasn't a huge deal because I have another blue brand that I'll use for those, but this is a nice little saw to have available within this ecosystem. Definitely grab it on a sale.

I do not recommended it for longer cuts. It’s not very rigid and the cuts stray a bit. If you apply almost any uneven pressure to the handle, the blade moves in relation to the base plate. Good for rough cuts though.

It does the job. Surprisingly powerful.

Description state that a hex wrench is included- it is not. You also need a torx driver to attach the vacuum dust adapter- not included. Squaring the blade to the plate also took some finagling.

Old one fell to many times and went out of square

My old Ryobi was used hard and lasted long. Loved it and it was one of my favorite tools. The new circular is far better! Great weight and responds well.

This little saw does an amazing job ripping 3/4 plywood. I wish I would have gotten it sooner.

Bought this saw to replace an earlier model that finally died. Out of the box it ran great. Interesting note is that there is a one second delay between trigger actuation and the saw starting. Also under load there is a rhythmic ticking in the reduction gears that is absent when the saw is ran freely. It cuts cleanly through any 2x wood using a diablo blade.

I don't know if I'll ever use my corded circular saw again. This saw is so easy to use. It is light and very capable. I've had it for 6 months now and have used it to cut a 1" thick Maple tabletop and 2x8 pressure treated joists with a 45-degree bevel. The bevel cut taxed it pretty good because the wood was really wet, but it made it through it. I like the soft start and ease of use. This saw has exceeded my expectations.
