Finally, a fan that is large enough to actually cool you down, but still portable to take anywhere you need it to be. This fan is just awesome. I jump from the garage, to the shop, to the yard to the inside of the house, but need to have a dedicated fan in each area because I am tired of dragging a cord around and plugging them in all the time. What great about this is it runs on a cord, or an 18V Ryobi battery. I use my 6Ah 18v battery on with this fan, and it give me around 2 - 1/2 hours of run time on high, which is amazing to me. Its also really powerful, and has 4 settings (Off, low, med, high). It's super quiet on all setting, and has a large knob with numbering on the back to make it easy to adjust. Another great thing about this fan is that it's super light, and can even be hung if you want to place it up higher. It even has a very wide range of swivel, so you can basically put it anywhere you want. This fan is just plain awesome, and I love that Ryobi gives you the hybrid option. You can literally take this anywhere, and that's a hug plus for me. Well done on this one!

Pros. It is nice having the portability of a 18v fan. The fan is very sutable for a single person 6-12 feet away. On the 4AH bat Im am getting about 2 hours on high. On the 9AH about 4.5 on high. This is pretty good as I can charge battery faster then they drain. Cons Price should be under 99$. Even running on Electric the fan has same poor performance. Better off buying a Ryobi 150watt inverter 69$ and a 40$ Kool-Flo 18” shop fan. This on low will push twice the air. With The 9AH battery it will run 3 hours on low. Also the quick charger can keep up with a second battery. And if you need more air plug it in and turn to high. It will do better than 3 air cannons easily.

I’m so happy I purchased this fan. I am a die hard Ryobi user so I already have batteries but this is also great for customers who are not in the system. The fan already comes with an extension cord so it’s ready to go right out of the box! This fan is really quiet and a great value! 100% recommend.

Great fan, moves a good volume of air, not too noisy, can carry on a conversation near it without issue. Developed a 'squeal' after about 20 days of constant use. Returning, hopefully a fluke as this is a nifty fan, that runs well, is built sturdy, isn't hard to move, and keeps things cool, easy assembly (tool-less). Will update if this happens with the replacement. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd get more to move air through my apartment, too.

I've had the little Ryobi fan for years now. Love it!! Got this as an upgrade. I like the more sturdy build and greater air output, but it's not proportional. For its size, the smaller Ryobi fan puts out more air. This fan's operation under battery also seems anemic. Under corded power it's fine, but that's it: fine. However in my occupation, having a large fan like this that I CAN run on battery is great. Oh yeah, I also installed magnets on it so I could temporarily mount it on metal surfaces and attached a cord using "fiber fix" tape so it couldn't be removed easily. These are typical upgrades to Ryobi tools that I do for work.

Even plugged in, the power is low for this size fan. The ability to run the fan on 18V Ryobi batteries is a nice feature.
