Good pex tool. After watching two companies repipe our properties with pex, I wanted to try it myself. They used the compression method but this tool uses the crimp ring method. I also will use it for repairs at the rentals.
I have a few ryobi tools so I got this(tool only) and was able to use my other two batteries and charger which is nice. The tool was a lot heavier than I expected which can get tiring after a while. It's nice that It is able to crimp sizes from 3/8th to 1 inch. We only used half inch and 3/4 inch.
Easy to Install, Reliable

This is an amazing tool for crimping pex rings. I’d recommend it if you are plumbing an entire house or run water lines for a living. Otherwise, for occasional use, it’s bit on the expensive side. It will handle the most common size rings and crimps them effortlessly. It’s a bit heavy. I like that it’s compatible with all my other Ryobi tools (battery).

I don’t normally use a lot of ryobi tools but this pex ring press is great at a lower price than other competitors. I used it to redo all the plumbing under a mobile home. I used it all day and didn’t run out of battery which was a 2ah. It sure beats trying to crimp the ring manually especially under the mobile where I didn’t have a lot of room and was crouched uncomfortably the whole time. It even came with a gauge and the tool itself will say if it did a proper crimp. I had no leaks and it did the job perfectly. Didn’t struggle at all and it sped up the process.
Easy to Install, No Leaks, tells you if crimp is proper

An amazing, but expensive, tool. If you are just doing PEX occasionally Ryobi’s other PEX crimping tool works well at a third the cost. But if you’re crimping dozens or hundreds of joints every week this is a lifesaver. Only complaint is the trigger is too sensitive.
