I tried this cutting set as it was 15% or...
I tried this cutting set as it was 15% or so less expensive than Dremel. I returned it as the plastic cutting bit from Dremel was better cutting die-cast aluminium than the metal cutting but from Ryobi, the metal bit from Ryobi was useless in my project.

I think this system is much better than the dremel...
I think this system is much better than the dremel system that is out there and this cut through grade 8 hardware pretty easily. Will be buying more in the future.

Was expecting a spring lock mandrel like I've got in the passed from other brands but was relieved to see it was a screw tighten and loosen mandrel. Very pleased.

I haven’t had a chance to use this cutting tool yet. Just from the discs included they looked very strong and I believe they would do a great job in cutting metal or plastic material.

The twist lock is not as good and as easy...
The twist lock is not as good and as easy to use as teh Dremel version. But it worked and was cheaper.

These Ryobi cutting kits are very easy to use, put shaft in then just pull and turn to take old cutting disk out. Then put new one on and twist and lock and continue to cut.

Gimic
I don't see where this was any faster than the screw and washer. I actually felt like it was more difficult and fidgety, you still have to unscrew the head so....
The only benefit I could see is that you don't have to worry about dropping that little screw and losing it.

Good quality and pricing. The only issue I find is twisting and unlocking to put in the blade unlike the dremel version. But other than that I like it.
