We are new to the irrigation game but chose Railbird products because of their unarguable quality and reputation. It will be awhile until our install because we have a lot of logistics to do first in our garden. We have a large tropical garden that will require a lot of water and plan on installing everything on a wifi irrigation controller using all types of sprinkler heads. We look forward to our install with Rainbird products !!

How best to review a sprinkler head; easy to install, yes. Adjustments are easy to make, yes. Maintenance is easy, yes. Sprays water and gets my lawn wet, yes (when I turn the water on). So yes, this makes for a very easy and fast replacement spray nozzle if you are in the market. You have adjustments for how much of the circle (the inner black dial) and how far it sprays (by pulling the head up/down).

I have 8 zones with 6 sprinklers per zone so occasionally the heads need replacement. In this case I liked the idea of a farther reach head as this one throws up to 14 feet without any issues at all. Very easy to replace the old hed, just unscrew the old head and screw on this one. Don't forget to insert the included sand/dirt filter that comes in the bag.

I purchased the Rain Bird 13 ft. to 18 ft. Full Circle Rotary Nozzle to replace the old one that didn't work anymore. I needed this distance, so I dint overspray into other lawns. I am pleased with the simple install and the nozzle works awesome. I put it to the test, and it sprays just like the description says. now I am going to replace all my nozzles with Rainbird products because they work great and are very well made.

I purchased the Rain Bird 17 ft. to 24 ft. Full Circle Rotary Nozzle to replace the old one that didn't work anymore. I am pleased with the simple install and the nozzle works awesome. I put it to the test, and it sprays just like the description says. now I am going to replace all my nozzles with Rainbird products cause they work great and are very well made.

I don't have the best water pressure for my sprinklers and only see this range from 7 to 10 feet. I also find that hard water build up reduces the range and adjustability of the tool less controls for the range and arc. I suggest cleaning in vinegar each spring to keep them performing the best. I like the staggered rotating streams of water that this brand provides. as well as the tool less adjustments over others that I have used and highly recommend.

I live in Florida and have a sprinkler system that covers my entire yard in 5 zones. I converted my old system about 2 years ago now when they installed a reclaimed water system in my neighborhood. My original system was installed back in 1996 and was badly in need of repair. So as needed I have been replacing my sprinkler nozzles and sprinkler units with Rain Bird units. I like the nice choice of sizes and patterns. In all cases so far, I have been able to find the proper sizes and patterns. I selected the Rain Bird 8’-14’ 360-degree nozzle for this area. Unit was easy to install and does a nice job of covering the area I needed covered.

It looks like it has a laser etched head with easy to read plus and minus symbols for telling you which way to turn for the angle of throw. This is unique in that you just push down on the head and rotate to increase or decrease the angle of throw. As you can see from the pictures, this should work with any standard rotating sprinkler head, including Hunter.

I was a little confused on the adjustments at first but after taking the head back off and playing with it before attaching it to the sprinkler. Works great and should help reduce water waste.

Adjustment directions are contently printed on the back of the bag. This specific nozzle gives 45-270 degrees of coverage and that is not printed on top of the nozzle but noted by it's green color..

Is very well designed and easily installed. The head is designed for water saving and it easy to adjust the distance by turning the dial and cleaning the debris from the head by just lifting it to clean it out.

I don’t have a system in my yard, but sheriffs office is across the street where my son works and they do. So I will try it out on their system if it fits. Can spray 8’—14’ out and go 360 degrees ensuring an evenly grass watering effect. You just twist the up nozzle to get desired distance from 8-14 feet, and while running you can lift nozzle up to clean out and debris from mowing or weed whacking. I was assistant manager of maintenance on Maui 200 unit property, we used and fix sprinklers systems all the time from nozzles popping off to redoing sections at a time. We used these at our complex and had good usage out of them, of course we used a big Dimensions heads with refuge water but the own really liked this brand. So if connected to city water or your own well water you will enjoy these, they are water saving products so you can water for less money.

I don't see as much water loss, which is good. Where it hits the pavement it doesn’t make such a big puddle as there used to be. These are also so much easier to adjust, simply turn the collar. No more fumbling around with a small screw driver. Cleaning is a breeze as well. No more need to take it all apart, just lift it up and it flushes out. I will eventually replace all the heads in my system.

Rain Bird spray head is a new design but an old name in the yard and garden watering field. A system that is a water saving spray head and still deliver the water where you want it to maintain your yard. Easy to install in the 4 inch spray body. No digging up to replace. Just a pull of the shaft and hold it while removing the old one and install the new designed spray head. Turn on the water and adjust as needed. While it is on, slightly push down on the head to adjust the pattern required. Twist the head to set the direction. So easy.

This Rain Bird nozzle spray head is a well built unit. Rain Bird irrigation parts have been around for years. I've had them in two different sprinkler systems and this last system is over 20 years old. Occasionally due to dirt getting into the heads I have to replace a head but overall the Rain Bird unit last a long long time. With the rotary nozzle I get a good even coverage and keep a healthy lawn.
