Has both tool less arc and distance adjustments. Hard water over time will build up and require cleaning to keep the spinning functional. Easy to install and adjust when new but deposits will reduce the responsiveness over time. Water pressure will affect the distance, but at my home the most I could reach was 7 to 10 feet at both extremes of adjustment. I recommend this item, but doubt most people will get the range this sprinkler is rated for.

I ordered the Rain Bird 13 ft. to 18 ft. Full Circle Rotary Nozzle for my front yard sprinkler system to try and get more water coverage next to one of my pine trees. This High Efficiency rotary nozzle really works well. The coverage is so much more than my standard sprinkler head. The rotating streams of water are designed to reduce runoff. Installation was simple and the rotary nozzle worked well. I like this Full Circle Rotary Nozzle and definitely do recommend this excellent Rain Bird product.

This is the best High Efficiency Rotary Sprayer nozzle that can save up to 30% of the water used in irrigation. This nozzle is designed to spray from 13 feet to 18 feet and can work a pattern from 45 degrees to 270 degrees. I like the design that gives pretty uniform coverage, apparently even in windy conditions. You can replace your existing pop up sprayers with this one and don't need any tools.

The Rain Bird 13 ft. to 18 ft. Adjustable Pattern Rotary Sprinkler Nozzle was an easy exchange for my existing 4" valve. We water our yard using with pond water, so we the inlet filter gets clogged frequently. It is fairly simple to remove these and clean the filter. These rotary nozzles seem to distribute the water better than static sprinkler nozzles. It is also nice to adjust the pattern to avoid sprinkling water where it is not needed.

Generally I like the performance of these Rotary Nozzles. They cover the area well, and provides streams of water that soak in better than a mist. However, the plastic degrades in the Arizona sun. Also, after a while they "stall" (no rotation), perhaps from hard water. So I find myself replacing the broken ones far too often. At $10 a pop, these are about 2x ~ 3x the price they should be.

I have been using a competitors rotary nozzles for years but these are easier to adjust. I would have given them 5 stars but 2 of the 6 nozzles we installed for a customer would not adjust to the full 24' pattern which we needed to provide correct coverage. I really like that they can adjust from 45-270 degrees and the adjustment process is so easy. I just wish they made a model that would reach farther than 24'

I bought 6 placed them and couldn’t get anything of them to spray right. They are hard to adjust and still couldn’t get them right. I then purchased Hunter rotary nozzles and they worked perfect.

Generally an excellent, efficient rotary sprinkler head. One design feature that could be improved is the “range” adjustment. It has no “stop” to indicate the beginning or end of its adjustment range, so is very difficult to set while installed.

I would really like to write a review on this sprinkler head but I have never received it. I have requested that this item be removed from my list because I never received it. I have inground sprinklers and that is the reason I ordered it from the SEED's program. I wanted to replace one that I have with this style because there is an are that the sprinkler does not get to and this would have been perfect for that area coverage, but since I did not get it, I cant replace the one I have. I have written on the contact page several times please requesting that this item be removed. Please remove this item as I never got it.

I was hoping to be able to connect just to my hose to water my garden but it does not seem to be the case. The concept is fabulous as I am an avid gardener and struggle trying to water several gardens.

We have an exisiting rain bird system and had a broken sprinkler head. This was super easy to untwist the old one and then just screw this one back in. Took a little might to get the old one off but replacing was easy. This is adjustable spray length from 13 to 18 ft, I'm not sure it goes quite to 18 but pretty close. Easy to adjust just using a screwdriver in the top.

Used these to replace some broken ones that werent working well on our lawn. Its nice because it is easy to screw in place after taking the old one out and to adjust just use the screw looking thing on top to adjust spray length and area. You basically just need a flathead screw driver to get the job done. We did have to take some time to get the old one out because it was kinda stuck. Our system is rainbird so im not sure about compatability.
