The pebbles were the right size and color, but were covered with something powdery that got all over the gloves I was wearing. I'd recommend them, with the caveat that the powdery substance can be problematic.

I ordered 4 bags of the 1in to 2in pebbles for store pickup. They arrived today so I eagerly picked them up after work. I debated opening a bag right there at the service deskmor in my car because some reviews, but I wanted to get home.
Mistake.
The smallest of the half or so of the one box I opened measured 2.5 inches. The largest was 4.75"! I didn't bother opening the other boxes. Taking them back tomorrow.
2 stars because color is good as advertised.

Be prepared for either needing a lot of rock or...
Be prepared for either needing a lot of rock or perhaps use pavers or other stone as filler if much depth is there. The stones are sized so that it takes more than you think initially. With that said, it is STUNNING! used large white, red and gray pots to do a low maintenance front yard. LOVE
