I was surprised at how easy it was to install this and fix my hose. I watched a YouTube video on how to install this and just followed the instructions. This is well made and did the job.

Do not buy this and connect it to a brass faucet. This is aluminum and when AL and brass get wet ...
Do not buy this and connect it to a brass faucet. This is aluminum and when AL and brass get wet you get a galvanic reaction: corrosion! I had to notch this Piece Of Stuff, break it off and then wire brush off the corrosion. All is well now. Spend the extra money and GET BRASS. See pic. I gave this 1 star only because it will not take zero.

Leaks
I bought this hose clamp style because the two peice “industrial” metal type was out of stock at the time. This leaks, even after I replaced the existing clamp with a higher quality wider clamp I had laying around. Spend the extra $1.50 for something better.

Had to use a heat gun (for heat shrink tubing)...
Had to use a heat gun (for heat shrink tubing) to soften old brittle hose because the old hose kept splitting. After that everything worked perfect with no leaks. Very Happy !!!

My application was very much light use with max of...
My application was very much light use with max of 60p.s.i. water pressure (occasional watering of greenhouse plants from rural well water). The Padula fittings are relatively light weight, made in China, and I would not trust them to hold 90p.s.i. plus metropolitan sourced water.
