Great sealer, I purchased this sealer for a cedar swing set I purchased which required sealing the wood for the warranty purposes. I highly recommend this brand.

This is a fantastic product and very easy to apply. Clear instructions on the container and additional instructions for prep on the website. I had some questions after application of the product, and called the 800 number for the manufacturer. They were extremely helpful in guiding me to complete the project.

Goes on easy with mini rollers, an HDX sprayer and a chip brush. No streaks, no fuss. A southern-facing side of my cedar fence (lot of sun, heat) is 3 years old, and it if beginning to show signs of needing another coat. The other sides are doing well. The color darkens with age and looks great. Very happy with color and finish. Pictures attached are the same section, cedar.

Really a great product! I've stained several decks with other products and I have been extremely pleased with the way Ready Seal self-levels and gives you a bit of wiggle room from worrying about overlapping edges. It smooths itself really well. The added bonus of being able to walk on it really soon after application is fabulous. The color has already soaked in and there's no worry about picking up color or transferring it to another surface. I sprayed the vertical surfaces of this project with a garden pump sprayer while another person rolled. This was only necessary because I wanted to make sure we didn't run out of product. I rolled the horizontal surfaces, the handrails and the spindles. Again, the stain flowed easily and I didn't have any issues with overlap marks at all! I will definitely use this product again.

Final product looked great. You really don’t need to back brush. However there is a lot of overspray to manage because the stain is so thin.

All in one semi transparent stain. Excellent coverage using brush. Been using on vertical fencing for over 10 years. I like the natural cedar color as it lets the beauty of the wood come through. This is a goof proof product

If you are looking for a stain to bring out the natural color of you wood this ready seal is awesome. We power wash and apply it when dry and it look like new construction!!! Holds up well too. We are fussy and love this product.

Satisfied with the quality and color

Easy to apply and very forgiving. Soaks I’m so there are no brush or start/stop marks. Highly recommend! Used natural cedar on smooth 5/4x6 radius edge decking. Sanded 220 grit to remove mill glaze first, then watered the deck and let it dry so the wood opens up a little, then applied the stain with a roller/brush. No need to let your brand new cedar get weathered and stained by dirt, food etc before staining. That’s old school mindset! Will be replacing my fence soon and using the same stain

Stain was easy to apply and blended in well to match throughout project.

It is water thin and I was able to spray it on with my paint sprayer. Easy and quick application. Be careful it is thin and drips. It dripped in my hair—yuck! It dried to the touch in about 30min; however since my coat was dripping it had wet spots that took a little longer to dry. It leveled in its own and you cannot tell where it dripped. It looks great.

Goes on easily. Covers less than stated area. Color is darker than pictured; although it still looks good. Longevity is not proven due to recent application.

Great product, looks great and is very easy to apply. Used it on my old cedar deck after a thorough sanding. I applied 2 coats 24 hours apart with a brush. My recommendation, don't over do it.. After 2 weeks, I can still see the oil shine on parts of the deck when in direct sunlight. It's gradually soaking but is taking longer than I expected. In retrospect, 1 thorough coat would have been just fine and would have saved me about a gallon worth of product and an hour of work. I'll use this again.

Absolute perfect color if you want to stay neutral and not go too dark. Pairs well with the black solid stain. Went on flawlessly!

Stain cans had an almost impossible plastic seal with no direction for removal. I applied to new decking when temps 80+ degrees. Low humidity. Did not use the deck for several days. When i did walk on it, footprints all over. I used a brush to try to remove. Now looks a dirty mess. The color is great and recent rain was repelled. Not sure how to proceed

There are lots of reviews on here that led me on a very lengthy search. I finally caved and just went with the 5 Gallon Natural Cedar. It was worth every penny, stop searching and just pull the trigger, you will be happy. Make sure you do the work, strip, sand, and clean the wood first. If you don't then you waste the money on any and all product you buy, that will be on you and not the product.

The photo and description do not match the RED tint. This claims to be "natural cedar" and the photo on the can and on the website show a very light cedar (yellowish) tone, but that is definitely not what we got. We followed instructions and our fence has never had any color stain applied, so it was as natural as possible when we began.

This is by far the best stain I have ever used! Outstanding color and great coverage! It’s now my go to stain! I actually ordered another 5 gallons so when it’s time to stain my cedar fence I will be ready to go! I encourage everyone with a staining project to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

It looks as good as it's possible to get when staining pressure treated wood. I did a lot of research and decided on a combination of wood conditioner and this product. I'd tried to get the result I've now achieved 3 different times with no joy. Am now happy. No splotching. Easy application. More uniform look than I'd expected. I highly recommend it!

Excellent product . Easy to use . No worry application. Dries and looks perfect .
