Worked decent but doesn’t stand up to the weather at all. This was after 1 year

I’ve had mine for around a year. I was looking for something big, and yes it fills the space. Its easy to turn on and adjust the flame, however any breeze over 10 mph blows it out. You need a calm night to keep it burning. Also, the cover is sturdy, but started to crack after we installed it. RF sent me a new one, and that one started cracking soon after (design flaw). I bought some fire glass to make it pop at night. Overall, I like it, just wish there were more affordable options for natural gas.

Great- Heavy and seems to have a great flame, with a nice cover and works well with the natural Gas connection.

Overall product has done what it says and fits nicely with the patio. I wish there were more choices for "natural gas" fire pits. NG has to be fitted by a certified plumber et al which did add to the expense -safety first!

Buyer Beware! 2 big problems with this firepit. 1. When I took the protective cover off after the winter, the paint was peeling badly all over the top surface. 2. Bigger problem - they don't bother to tell you BEFORE you buy this fire pit that several times a season it is necessary to empty all of the lava rock and "flip" the fire table on it's side in order to clean out the fire tube to be sure no spiders have built a nest inside. If you don't do this and insects have built nests in the fire tube, then there could be blow back and a major fire hazard. "Flip" this hundreds of pounds table! Empty 3'x3' x4" of lava rock by hand! Several times a season..... I asked why they didn't make it more accessible and the lady said "we don't like the look of a door on the side". Interesting, because there is a round hole on one side, that serves no actual use other than to look inside the dark underneath area of the firepit... But, they like the look of that unhelpful hole, but not the look of something that would be a service to their customers!

The burner is to small, they could have easily made the burner larger providing more heat and flame. I am considering buying a larger burner assembly and installing it to the unit.

I think it is a nice fire pit if you live in mild temperatures. It is very nice in the looks department. I honestly had more expectations of better heat given off though. You need to be resting with your cold parts as close as you can without burning your short hairs to feel any heat at all. Unfortunately, if you are too close and your close parts begin to sag because of finally gaining a little warmth, you had better be in the part of the fire where the circle doesn't actually close as your parts drop or you're going to have a burnt "marshmallow". Why did Real Flame not complete the fire ring to begin with....weird. Oh well, the pit is in and it's not worth moving. I just order a patio heater to accompany the half worth fire pit. Two halves make a whole right?

This fireplace looks even better in person. It's sleek and clean and have a great look. The fire ring is not completely round - it only goes 90% of the circle. But it still has a lovely flame. I would buy it again.

I bought my first Real Flame natural gas fire pit 3 years ago. It was the rectangular version. It works flawlessly, with minimal signs of wear

I purchased a Real Flame Baltic 36" Fire Pit in Kodiak Brown from Home Depot in September, installed it in November, had the cover on all winter, and started using the unit in March. First, the "Kodiak Brown" is virtually black, not brown. Second; a couple of weeks after I started using the unit in late March, the paint started coming off. Frankly, I thought the unit was light-weight concrete with intregral color but instead, it is a cheap paint finish that flakes off easily. If the paint is already coming off just a couple months into it's life-span, I shudder to think what this unit will look like in another year. I contacted Home Depot because I want to return the unit since it is obviously not going to stand up to the elements. (How could I know that within 90 days)? Home Depot referred me to the manufacturer who in turn referred me back to Home Depot. Someone should take this unit back because a product that costs $1,000 should stand up to the elements longer than a few months and if it doesn't, it should not be sold as a premium product. I now see other folks have left similar comments about the paint (and also the brown color really being black). I should have done more due diligence but felt comfortable that Home Depot would not sell something that wasn't quality. I found out I was wrong. Do not buy and beware dealing with Home Depot and be sure to read the fine print if you are buying a big-ticket item that you hope will last. I would have given this product zero stars if that were an option...

We bought this unit 6 months ago. It stayed in the box for 3 months. In the 3 months it has been installed it has shed a great portion of its finish. It looks terrible and we have only turned it on once to test it. Do NOT buy this product. I would have rated this a zero stars if that had been possible.

Great addition to our backyard patio -- love it! Really enjoy sitting around firetable anytime day or night watching the dancing flames. Adding coloured fire glass vs included lava rock really made this product pop. Order the on-line 40lb container; we used it all. Super convenient direct gas-line hookup. Solid construction, well built. Very natural finishes. Only disappointment is flame bar is not completely round when lit - circle is only about 3/4 of the way around.

Well built, decorative fire pit. It looks great on my patio. The brown color is very dark, almost black. I would follow the other recommendation posted here to purchase extra lava rocks. Highly recommend.

I expected a concrete type finish, but the finish on this is more of a faux concrete painted look. It has a decent flame, and will get the job done. It came with a nice vinyl cover, which is easy to take on and off. It has legs to raise it a tiny bit. Not a bad fire pit.

Nice unit, but pretty plain. I added 1" x 1" glass tiles and it looks much nicer.
