Water Heater Relief Valve

Water heater started leaking from valve. Valve would not reseat. Replaced valve which only involved cutting output tube and unthreading remaining section from valve so valve could be removed. Valve came with thread sealant on it so no addition sealant was needed. Cutting overflow tube may not be needed in your case, my tube was 6 feet long after elbow joint and soldered together.
