I bought it to replace an identical unit that was...
I bought it to replace an identical unit that was less than 2 years old. The code on the contol module read (gas valve failure). It appeared the electronics failed again.

It never fails, when you least expect something is always breaking down around the house. I went down to HD and they had this smaller water heater in stock which is what I needed and at a decent price. I installed it in about 30 min, now I'll just have to see how long this one lasts.

I bought this Rheem Performance water heater recently and so...
I bought this Rheem Performance water heater recently and so far really delighted at the ease of installation. It looks sturdy and very well made. Hopefully it would last like the other one I had before. It was the General Elected which lasted for eight years, more than the 6 years warranty period. Only time could tell.
