The water heater was a good by and has performed as expected since installed. It took a little long to arrive at the store but I would buy one again from you and I will.

I bought the Performance 50 Gal. Short 6 Year 36,000 BTU Natural Gas Power Vent Tank Water Heater. The energy savings posted ($264) was not what was delivered. The energy sticker on the tank was $301. I've only had the tank for a month it it seems to heat water when the smallest amount is output. (Use hot water for 2 minutes, gas comes on to get it up to temperature). I keep it at "HOT" setting and is stored in the basement in New England (Southern Massachusetts). Maybe getting the smaller tank (40Gallon) would have been better.

The installation was pretty easy, and it works much better than the 20 year old unit it replaced. Very satisfied with the operation of the unit.

Works great! Lots of hot water at an even temperature. It was easy to install since the gas pipe was already there. I installed it myself and vented it through the wall using 2" PVC.

I went with it because of the price and it works very nice and quiet too!

Installation was easy and the unit works well.

Used this to replace a Rheem Powervent 40gal water heater. It fit into the same space with minimal changes.

I received the item, got it installed by professional. The next day, I learned that the pressure released valve kept leaking water when the water heater runs several minutes. I called Rheem and their customer service sent me one within several days. I gave it 3 stars because I had to replace it myself. I am not a handyman, had to buy some tools and YouTubed the problem and tried to solve it myself.

Water heater was installed by a qualified service technician and the unit is performing as expected.

Good quality heater. The noise at the outside vent is a bit louder than expected. This heater is installed in the utility room by the furnace. the water heater makes less noise than the furnace. The anode hex- head is recessed and looks like it will be rather hard to remove. It is certain that dirt will collect in the recess, and some will fall into the hole when the anode is removed. The old rheem had a brass water drain valve, this one has a plastic drain. I am on a well and the water to the heater is always cold, as I live in Montana, the heater works well and provides lots of hot water. I am happy with the install and the heater. I would install another one.

Purchased this unit 5 month ago and already having issues malfunctioning

Appears to be quality and works great. VERY noisy, don't want near living area.

So far so good. No issues, so much bigger than my 40 gal Bradford White which I replaced.
