THIS IS JUNK Never worked from jump!! It would go from hot to cold !!!!!!! It was in the garage so I dealt with it........after 1 year all lights off.. Reem was no help So for my $$$200 plus $$150 to install it, after 1 year I have nothing To Reem $$$350 is chump change but for me it is 1//3 of my monthly Social Security check

Would not recommend for a kitchen sink- water only gets up to 102. Designed for bathroom sink- 1/2 gal per minute- which it states on the box, but it also says it can handle up to 3 faucets. NON-adjustable temperature setting. Would recommend the 8kW model- it's only a few dollars more and has an adjustable temp setting. However, the size is more than double.

Even though this item says that it specifications can work a single shower it will not heat the water up beyond 100° which is not adequate for a shower

It does not work correctly. Sometimes it heats up sometimes not. Who do I contact about this matter?

Mine did not work well at all. Hot cold, hot cold.......goofy unit. I refunded it and ordered the 5.5K unit and am crossing my fingers over here.

It comes without connectors, just raw electrical ends. Furthermore, it needs to be returned but says not to return to store. What?

We bought this water heater for our kitchen. Our house water heater is so far away from the kitchen it takes a long time to get hot water to my sink, so I thought this would be the answer to my problem. I have to turn the water on very slow to get hot water and then it doesn’t last. It’s nice and compact for under the sink, but it doesn’t do the job and keep hot water at my sink as I expected.

Using for a small sink and shower. Happy with purchase but dropped one star because it does not heat over 101 for us.

Would not heat water above 90 degrees.

THIS THING DOES NOT WORK. CUTOMER SERVICE WILL STALL YOU UNTIL THE WARRANTY RUNS OUT. RHEEM SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY SOMEONE FOR CONSUMER FRAUD! HOME DEPOT: HAVE SOMEONE CALL RHEEM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SEE HOW BAD THEY ARE. HOME DEPOT: THIS TERRIBLE PRODUCT IS CASTING A BAD LIGHT ON HOME DEPOT. STOP CARRYING RHEEM PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One it was a pain to connect to get to work then after I got it to work there barely any flow of hot water before it's touch and starts to cool down definitely not worth the money and I can't even shower with this it's a pile of junk to be honest.

Ordered twice...and still no hot water

Purchased to provide hot water to our kitchen sink that hasn’t had any since purchasing the house 1 year ago. This works like a champ! Very pleased.

I put it in my shop restroom to have hot water to wash up ! Works well for what I bought it for

I was using gas and had a big problem so a friend of mine convinced me to purchase this. What a saving I had from not having hot water for weeks. I love how it goes on when needed and not wasting hot water in a large tank.

Using in RV. 220vac produces very hot, endless water. Small. 3asy to install. The 120 volt set up is not effective more than 70-90 degrees depending on inlet water temp. Has water temp display, auto on and off with water flow. Great little unit worth the funds and electrical wiring.

This water heater, if it can even be called that, will never exceed a temperature of 80 F stock. I live in a one bedroom apartment with 2 faucets so it’s not a demanding load. You will either need to buy extra parts to slow flow rate down or upgrade. Waste of money buy a more expensive one

I like the Hot water in 5-8 seconds. Not sure why there are several seconds after hot water for a while that it goes Cold and then the Hot water returns, but much improved over waiting for Hot water to come a long distance. Happy

This does not work. 'Customer Service' consists of people who stall you until you give up. They tell you to disassemble the unit and then they send you the wrong parts. They want you to fiddle around with a 220V item and hope you do not die. They told me to get an electrician and a plumber. At $100 an hour each, that makes NO sense to repair a $189 unit. Then they say it is not usable in my area. I live in SOUTH FLORIDA! I used to buy over $1 million a year from Rheem. NOT A PENNY MORE EVER!

Not suited for my application.

You have to turn water on just enough to activate the auto-turn on feature, yet Absolutely No further or you will get ONLY COLD water. This is not efficient to run a sink or shower. It is next to worthless. The pic on HD site shows this is 220V. Yet it states 120V. You can expect water to go from Warm to freezing cold throughout the use and a max temp of 107, while a normal temp of 92. There is no adjustments. I have it hooked within 7 ft from 30 amp breaker, with 8 ga wire, beyond recommended
