Very picky unit! Must use the Rheem vent piping for the correct back draft and exhaust. Or you will get error code 12. Unit is easy to install, you should no a bit about piping methods. Once working it does what it is supposed to.

Easy replacement for my old Rheem tankless which was fried due to a generator problem.

I had a Rheem that I was using for 13 years before it failed. Thought it was the unit but turned out it was the gas supply line. Do not know how a unit can work for 13 years and then not work. New one also failed with same issue that was not understood until installers discussed with Rheem. Ended up not installing unit and when with another brand. Will be returning unit to Home Depot.

The unit works as well as expected. My house that was first sold in 2017 had this unit installed. Now less than 5 years later, it developed a water leak and I had to replace it.

Great product. Nice to have hot water at the other end of the house in under a minute!

So far so good only if someone want cheap solution for double vent problem let me know because rheem is charging too much for their own product. over hall is good .

The heater works. The 3/4 in gas line is too much and has to be regulated or you get vibration. If you have a faucet with low pressure on the hot side it may not trigger the heater to turn on. I had both issues until I called support and they provided the cause and how to fix it. The instructions for the remote are on a sheet of paper that has been copied too many times and it’s too dark to see the picture. It works fine another than the fine tuning.

Works great and was easy to install

I hired a company through HD to install. 2 weeks later has is leaking and the water heater keeps turning off! The installer is coming tomorrow to fix the problem I hope!

I replaced my 14 year old Rheem on demand water heater. Some minor adjustments to the vent stack and gas line. Nothing too complicated. Works better than the last one did. Thus far I am pleased with this appliance!

Installed with ease, working great

Model is extremely close to the model it replaced. Previous model isn't made any longer. Only problem I have noticed is when taking a shower and I turn the cold water on to cool the water, the hot flow will slow a but and the heater shuts off. Then i need to turn the hot water off and start over. I forget I need to turn the hot water on faster with this heater so the heater doesn't shut off when I turn the cold on. Same plumbing was used. Heater footprint is the same as the previous heater.

that brand company it's tricky.. there is no 12 years warranty. don't believe it.

The water heater heater is very good, however Home Depot does not carry the required vent pipe to install it. I had to search online extensively to find the required vent pipe, which delayed the installation by over a week. As a result, I had no hot water for that period of time.

Great price, easy to install. This is our second unit. More than happy with both. The first one lasted longer than we anticipated. The only reason we had to get a new one is because we were unable to get parts for our old one. That’s how old it was.

I love it! I can be doing laundry and taking a hot shower at the same time without running out of hot water!!
