We would like to provide you with solutions to the video quality concerns you are experiencing today!
It sounds like the video quality from your device is not what you expected. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is an outdoor floodlight security camera that offers 1080p HD video. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity and video quality to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
You will also want to ensure your wifi can provide adequate upload speeds for your Ring device. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has a recommended minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps per device. Upload speeds that are significantly lower can lead to degraded video quality and other performance issues. Contact your internet service provider if upload speeds are insufficient.

The Ring Light & Camera unit works fantastic!! Bravo to the engineers for adding a simple little strap to assist in hanging it while you connect the wires!! I did have an issue with my WiFi making a good connection but by adding the Ring WiFi Booster / Doorbell it now works great!!

The camera and lights work exactly as expected. The issue is that I wanted to install the system on my home and garage eaves. I had to buy an adapter through a third party to accomplish this. It’s hard for me to fathom that Ring doesn’t consider this application and make their own adapter. If you want to mount this on a wall, great system.

I had this light install on my garage. I already have several Ring products. Since this item was on sale I added it to my collection. I also have an ADT camera which only captures my driveway. The Ring Floodlight is more clearer and captures several houses on my street.
