Issue After Purchase
I bought this in September of 2023 online, and I accepted what it is supposed to do, which I am very satisfied, but after receiving an alert I looked at my camera and noticed the covering of the camera itself is dangling, which SIGNIFICANTLY interferes with night visibility. If I cannot effectively surveil my home at night, this is useless.

The Ring Flood Light Cam Wired exceeded my expectations! The quality of the lights and camera are solid. The installation was a breeze. Love that it has a strap that allows you to wire the fixture without having to hold it. Excellent product. Glad I purchased two.

I’m very disappointed
I am very disappointed with this product, because this is an exterior light. It was suppose to be water proof. After the rain the flood light was suppose to be water resistant and I found water inside of it. I paid $250 on this product and it’s not water proof like said to be.

Had them installed , they work great. Picture is crisp, one has a weak signal from the Wi-Fi router, depending on how far your router is from a camera you may need a signal booster. That’s not the cameras fault.

Back Porch Security Camera
We already had an interior security system, so adding a Ring Floodlight Cam to the back porch of the house was just an additional layer of security. One thing a video image of a bad guy entering or leaving a home will certainly aid law enforcement in prosecution of a crime. We have two back entrances off the deck and this single cam unit would cover the area nicely. My biggest challenge was getting 110 vac ran to the location where I intended to place the Floodlight Cam. Once that voltage was there, the rest of the install was pretty straightforward for a DIYer. Plenty of YouTube videos available about installations. After, installation I just had to add the device to my existing Ring app account, and it was up and operating within a few minutes. I have been impressed with the quality of images both in daylight and at night. This unit has floodlight control from the app, as well as a siren from the app. There are 3 levels of app support. The lowest level is free, but there is no storage of any video data. The next level is $3/month/per device to a maximum of $10 month. At this level your video data is store on the internet for 6 months. The highest-level service provides a 24/7 monitoring capability. I have two devices, so my choice was the $3/month/device level and that seems to be working out ok. I am still operating the devices on the free 30-day trial, but I have already signed up for the subscription.

My New Favorite Activity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Floodlight Camera Wired Pro is the best new technology we've gotten in a long time! The security camera and dual floodlight system is amazing for their picture quality and motion detection. We are able to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection so it picks up the movement of a tiny insect flying by or the movement of a large animal that comes sniffing around on the darkest night. We love going over the videos captured by our Ring overnight because we live in a very rural, wooded area. The camera catches all kinds of animals at all hours and even at distances more than 100 feet away! The floodlights are extremely bright and very helpful when we arrive home or leave the house, and they are especially great when we take our dogs out in the dark. The audio on the alarm system can be set to go off, or an alert to the phone that someone is at our house allows us to set the alarm off remotely! This is a great security tool and it's an even better version of a trail camera! We bought one for the back of the house, too!

Great picture…sensitive motion detection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had other brand motion cameras before and this one is way better as far as “live view”, the ability to communicate through it, and the siren option (my favorite). The night vision isn’t terrible but it does show enough for identity purposes. It’s WiFi range is awesome because I have mine about 75’ away from my house and it still works. I definitely few more secure now that I have this. You can dial in the exact location you want to recognize motion, even times you want all your features to work.
The hard wire installation was super easy. Setting it up was even easier because Ring walks you through every step. Try it, you won’t regret it.

Every Detail, at Every Angle.

is the perfect option for us. The bright light illuminates our driveway, and along with the camera, it offers a great security option, for our family and property.
Do note that it requires high speed internet to install, and must be hard wired.
The high-tech outdoor camera has some impressive features, which include 3D Motion Detection, and Bird’s Eye View. The picture is very clear, and we can keep an eye on our property and vehicles. I also like that I can keep an eye on the family basketball games played in the driveway, when I'm inside the house.
We have a Ring Doorbell, but we also needed a broader view, and bright lighting for our driveway.
The LED floodlights are super bright, and light my way to our front porch and entrance door, giving me peace of mind.
It's also packed with features such as the convient two-way talk with audio, a very loud siren, and my favorite, 1080p HDR video and color night vision.
The floodlight is adjustable and can be ceiling or wall mounted.
The unit is weather resistant in -5°F to 118°F conditions.
I'm very pleased with the performance of the ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro

Awesome Camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this camera a couple of weeks ago, got it professionally installed on the front of the house and we were amazed at the great features, is was very easy to set up the app in both of me and my husband phone, we get an instant notification if there’s any motion on our front yard, you can adjust how far or how close you like the motion to be sensed, it has the option to keep the lights on all night or to light up only if there’s any motion, my favorite feature is being able to “snooze” the sensor for up to 4 hours at a time which I do when working on our garden
We live in a very safe and comfortable neighborhood but it great to add more peace of mind with this security system

Absolutely the best in the market!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently added the Ring Cam Wired Pro to our Ring family. Ring has really made the installation and setup process easy. I like the fact that it is wired so I never have to worry about batteries and we had a great spot that replaced an existing floodlight. I feel like the light with a camera is a great deterrent and the live view and recording are a nice bonus. It's so nice to be able to see who is approaching before they even get to the door bell and its gives us a much larger view of our front yard and driveway. The monthly fees are right in line with everyone else out there and of course "Ring" is the brand that everyone knows.

Pro Features are top of the line.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top to bottom the Ring Flood Light Pro me all my needs, and is starting off as an amazing product for our family's home security.
Installation was a little bit of work, as I did not have existing fixture or wiring, but once I installed a junction box and ran power to it, the floodlight itself was super easy to install and setup. The strap that allows the unit to hang while connecting the wiring is ingenious, and made the hook up process quick and simple.
The steps though the app, and the audio cues from the camera, made final set up a breeze. One thing that that can be improved is adding an initial step to allow you to position the camera to its desired area before setting the advanced features during the setup process. The pro camera allows for you to set zones and establish Ring's 3D motion w/birds eye view. I had to go back and make changes to these settings as I wanted to move the camera to capture more of a certain portion of our yard. This doesn't really take away from the overall ease of installation and use though, just added time.
The cameral has a very wide angle and captures our entire street view, which is 100ft across. The lights are bright and bring needed illumination to the dark side of our house and ensure the night views of the camera are crystal clear.
I would recommend this production to anyone.

Super easy to use, works as promised

It records in real time and we set it up with our phone and it works great. Easy to put up, we replaced a broken one with this and it went up with absolutely zero problem. Looks as good as it works. Very happy with it.

Great wide view!

The view is so wide, I can see not only my driveway but both my yard, the neighbors and the street. The alerts to my phone are great and I can adjust the settings so it doesn't go off every time a car drives down the street. I have it set moreso if someone comes on my property it goes off. Set up was easier than I had expected as the directions were very easy to understand. I like this so much, I'm going to get another one for my backyard too.

Safety!

Great Video Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The quality of video on this flood light is crazy compared to the Ring Doorbell 2 we currently have on the front door. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro was pretty easy for my husband to install where there was a previously a light. It was pretty straight forward. Going through the actual setup was a breeze. The Ring app walks you right through it. It was up and going from unboxing to final app setup in less than 15 minutes. I love that you can adjust the most ion zones and the brightness of the lights. The video is so clear and talking through the cam sounds like the person is right there. Overall we loving this floodlight cam and look forward to upgrading our other older Ring products.

Another great Ring product!

They also provide a strap so you can let the light dangle while you wire the device--this beats getting some coper wire and making it yourself. The setup to the ring app is pretty straight forward. The video feed is great and clear. The lights are bright so if you need to see what is going on at night you can see. Overall a great product. I have other ring products and they don't disappoint. I highly recommend it!

Most advanced outdoor security!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ring Floolight Cam is amazing and it keeps me secure at home.It works great,great video quality and easy to install.It is a great addition to my existing alarm system.Its clear and night vision is superior to other home systems that I have seen.The fact that you can see the video on your phone is very helpful.It is hard wired so I don’t have to worry about changing batteries.
The set up was extremely easy.It got connected up and running in less than 5 minutes after installation.The key however is a reliable internet service.The video is also crystal clear with the ability to zoom-in on your cell phone.The coverage is also great.I can see almost every inch of my frontyard with adjustment of the camera.It records every movement,including cars passing by.
This device gives me piece of mind when traveling or leaving my parents and kids at home.
I highly recommend to go for this Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro.I felt it was excellent quality for the price.

Easy and Great Quality

I had the old light out and the new floodlight cam installed in less than 20 minutes. Very few pieces to mess with. There is even a screwdriver included in the package. Once installed the app setup was a breeze. Download the app, connect to the camera and adjust your zone and sensitivity settings. You can also invite another user access to the camera from the app as well. All in all the picture quality is phenomenal and the notifications are super fast. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.

Clear View

This floodlight cam was easy to install into the existing egress location in our back yard. The camera is clear and the lights come on when it detects movement at night. The app makes it super easy to see each motion activity, zoom into videos, start an alarm that is equipped with the light and I can even talk to my pup through the microphone. Piece of mind means everything these days, I definitely recommend.
