Ring Video Doorbell Elite is intended to provide a premium experience, allowing you to easily converse with visitors from the Ring app. Live View video should connect in a timely manner, and we're here to help. This device features a built-in ethernet port, allowing for an internet connection that doesn't rely on a wifi signal. If you haven't already, we recommend this type of connection instead of wifi to help reduce connectivity issues. Otherwise, please use the Device Health portion of the Ring app to test your internet connection. This test will help you identify and resolve underlying issues with your internet speed that may be affecting your doorbell's performance. You should be able to depend on your Ring Video Doorbell Elite to capture all doorbell dings and motion events, while delivering a timely notification to your phone. Rest assured, we hear your concern and would love to help solve this. If your device is missing motion events, the issue may be related to your motion settings. For example, if your Motion Frequency or Motion Sensitivity are set too low, motion events could be missed. To find your motion settings, please follow these steps. * Open the Ring app and tap the main menu. * Select the word Devices. * Tap on your Ring Doorbell Elite. * Open the Motion Settings menu tile. * Select Motion Frequency (This may be under Advanced Settings.). Today's routers handle a lot of data, and can benefit from the occasion reboot. You should only need to power your router down for 1 minute or so. Once the wifi comes back online, your Ring devices will automatically reconnect, and notifications should come through smoothly.
