  • Not an outdoor adhesive
  • March 25, 2013

This stuff may work if you use it on a covered porch but that's it. I applied this stuff to my boat to hold the carpet down. The carpet cured for 3 dats at around 75 degrees and then 4 more days at around 50-55 degrees. I tried grabbing an edge that was slightly in the way and the bond was strong enough to pull the fibers out of the carpet. Good right? Wrong...if you put water on the carpet and wait 5 minutes, the carpet will peel up like it was held down with pudding. This stuff does not repel water and cannot get wet.

  • Not good for marine
  • August 04, 2014

I had purchased this glue upon the other reviews here. After installing the carpet, not too heavy handed on the glue. I did not get out on the boat for 2 days. When we when out the first time it got wet the carpet shifted. And even a week later the carpet is till not adhered to the floor. I will be reinstalling the carpet with a marine grade clue.

  • Does not tack
  • May 17, 2016

Applied needle-punch carpet to boat and found product doesn't tack up even when applied to both surfaces. End up using contact cement. This adhesive may be very "green" and user friendly but so is water. I am a retired Floorcover and have used all the different glues over the years and have seen the amount of "stick" disappear as the "safety" increases.

Pros Easy to Clean Cons Difficult to Install, Not Durable, tackless

Used it to redo my patio floor.with artifical grass carpet. It is easy to use with the trowel but quite messy so use throw away clothes. The glue also bleeds through, so i used pattern carpet, hopefully it will stay put, only time will tell.

  • Easy to apply
  • July 07, 2014
  • Recommended Product

Made some removable panels for the interior of a camper trailer using OSB, indoor/outdoor carpet & this glue. Very easy to apply. Creamy texture that has minimal sag. The I/O carpet I used was not a rubber backed so over application of the glue pressed thru the carpet in a couple small areas. Trial & error. Applied last night. Will see today how the adhesion is. I got right about, maybe a little less, coverage than stated on the can. Pleased with the application process.
