  • Big improvement over the previous traverse rods

The rods were very easy to convert from right-draw to left-draw orientation on the cords, mounting them was very easy (all the locations were marked from the previous double traverse rods that were installed before we bought the house *many* years ago), and operate **much** smoother that the old ones. I'm kicking myself for not doing it a long time ago!

  • Strong enough and works as expected

Worked best for my needs. I've used these to hang heavy curtain panels with blackout liners and sheers. Works as expected if installed correctly. I had to take it out once after installing it to correct the cord that was caught between the top of the master carrier and the outer rod. It caused the curtain to stick while closing and opening. It appears that the cord went between the top of the master carrier and the outer rod when I converted one of the cord from right to left pull (I prefer to have panel and sheer cords on the opposite ends). Once I've corrected the cord to go under the carrier, it worked fine. Enough number center angle supports and end brackets are included. Good quality and Good value for the money. HD sells these at a better price than competitors. Only suggestion I could provide to the manufacturer is about end brackets. The 6 screw holes on the end brackets are too close if it were to be installed just on the drywall(no studs). 6 holes closer to each other on the drywall will break the wall easy when pulling the cord. I didn't have the problem as I was able to install on the studs and it is stronger. I've ordered few more of these for other windows as well.

Pros Looks Great, Nice Design, Easy to Install, Excellent Quality, Functional, Good Size & Weight, High Quality of Material, Sturdy, Well Made

Rod Desyne are excellent heavy duty traverse rods for heavy weight pinch pleated draperies. I always select the longest size traverse rod that fit my window widths for the greatest rigidness. These traverse rods come with all the hardware and everything needed for a professional installation. This double traverse rod works well for pleated drapes over pinch pleated shears that let the light in, yet maintain privacy. And allow for the shears to be drawn open as well when a clear view through the window is desired. I prefer traverse rods due to ease of opening and closing my window coverings.

Rod is sturdy and exactly what I needed. After a few weeks of use, drapes open and close smoothly with no issues. I am very happy with the rod and would recommend it to others. The only downside to this product was the installation directions. I am not a handy person around the house and found the directions not very clear and a little confusing. But I went on YouTube and watched some installation videos and my problem was solved.
