These must be mislabeled because I feel sure they are not 5 gallons. Maybe 3 gallons. I’m including a pic of it next to a 5 gallon bucket. I understand that the bags have some stretch that would make them a little wider, but several gallons wider? Not convinced.

So far these pouches are working really well. First year using them so time will tell how long they last and how my vegetables like them. I bought these to add additional gardening space (I have raised beds for everything else). The handles make them easy to lift and move once they are filled with soil.

This is my first time using a product of this type. I needed something large but didn't want something that would be very heavy. I like the idea of it being breathable too. It seems well made and sturdy. The handles are secure, but I don't want to risk tearing them or the planter, so I won't try to lift by the handles. I have it in my screened lanai. My only concern is if the floor will get stained after rains or watering. I just transplanted my key lime tree in it today, so time will tell. Overall, I like the root pouch very much.

Well my "Root Pouch" garden is in phase one! I took my pouches to a local nursery for some high quality house made potting soil! Since I already had the pouches! Several of the employees and I shoveled a cubic yard into 15/15 gal pouches and I hauled it home! Couldn't have gone smoother! PLUS it saved me a chunk of cash over big box store bagged potting soil!

I've been planting on my deck. These will give me more room and ability to move them. Plus better for my plants in many ways.

These have worked amazingly well and were just what I needed. My husband and I were in a rental before we could move into our new house, but I still wanted to start a garden. I used these bags to plant my fruits and veggies, and was able to just pick them up and move them to our new home. All the plants have been thriving in them. I started with another brand of similar bags, they were more of a nylon, mesh like material. They're ok, but I find the soil dries out very quickly in those. With these root pouches, it's much easier to control the soil moisture. They don't dry out too fast - but I found out after a very heavy rain, they also don't keep the soil soggy. Highly recommend!

These work very well. I did a test by planting two identical bags and one has a thing under it to hold water. That one has grown much larger. I planted three celery plants in each. See photo

We bought a pack of these Root pouches (15 Gal). They're amazing! We're used them for our Plumeria and Fig trees. They look nice and will help us move the trees inside once weather stops cooperating. We've been using it for more than 3 months and so far no reason for us to complain! Highly recommended!

I really love these pots! I live in an coop and started a container garden this past spring. These pots make it easy to pick up pots and move around on my balcony for optimal sunlight. I currently have my tomatoes and peppers in the pots and they are rooting nicely.

I am a renter and wanted to put plants into a raised bed next to a plastic pond in a way that wouldn't be permanent - in case I move or in order to change the plants around as they thrive or fade. I am very pleased with these root pouches for this purpose. They are easy to use and provide good drainage - an issue in Florida's heavy summer rains. I was able to arrange the plants much better than I would have in rigid pots. Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased these for individual heirloom tomato plants so that I could move them to sunshine if needed. They are working well so far (mid-June)

These bags are the perfect size for my growing plants. They fit perfectly for my growing plants. They are nice and sturdy.

The product is as it appears. I have planted it up, now to wait on the results. So far I am happy with it. We were able to move it a little with it being filled with dirt. If I had more muscle I could probably moved it more.

Love this root pouch to ggrow my peas and beans. It looks great and can fit into any pace because its soft. I will get lots more.

Good quality material, but the bag is not one gallon. I couldn't get a three litre water jug to fit inside. The stitching is sub standard as well. With care, I may get two seasons out of them. I will not purchase again.

Well constructed, great selection of sizes, strong handles and they look great. I think the colors are good, not gaudy and go very well in a garden setting. The sides stand up well even after watering or rain, very little sagging - I thought this may be an issue if I didn't fill it to the top, but that was unfounded. Would happily buy more if the need arose. Easy to move about the garden, which we have had to do several times dues to renovations. Great product.

While I have yet to use my most recently purchased root pouches, I can attest to their quality/durability and they are better than any container for veggies as they let the roots breathe. Can’t wait for warmer weather so I can plant away!

Sturdy and well sewn. Have only used them for 3 weeks, so will wait until end of season to review.

Love the pop of color in my garden & easy to move since it’s light & has handles. Will be purchasing more for sure

Work well when fully filled with soil. Cheapest way to get a large pot. Works for growing potatoes.

Better than I expected

They are great for growing!

We were looking for some planters for the garden, but they were all so expensive. Then we ran across these. We bought the 5 pack of the 15 Gallon. We built a custom stand out of materials that we had to hold all 5 of them. They hold about 2 and a 1/3 bags (40 lbs. bags) of soil each. Held their form nicely after being filled. Anxious to see how they make it thru the garden season. I will say for now, they look and work great. a couple of other things that were nice about them; They are made out of recycled plastic water bottles. The was a Thank You card included and a prepaid return label. (To return the product if you needed to.) We did not by the product because it was made out of recycled materials but it is nice that it is. The thanks you card was just a nice touch. So far, I would recommend these.
