Horrible shredder
I got the shredder in the mail. Hooked it up started using it. Not more than 10 minutes after I was using it. It got really hot and stopped working now. I don't recommend this shredder at all. Don't waste your money or time on this item.

My previous cross cut shredder from the 90s finally died and I wanted one that also shredded credit cards. I thought the price was good and the reviews weren’t terrible. I also wanted a smaller footprint because of lack of space. I’ve had this about a month now and it works well so far. Easy to empty. I can get up to five sheets to run through smoothly. Six is pushing it. But I try to shred as soon as mail comes in so not to build up a huge box of shredding.

Although the instructions said you could shred multiple pages simultaneously,...
Although the instructions said you could shred multiple pages simultaneously, I only shred one sheet at a time. I found that it still jams up and you have to clear all the jammed shreds from the rolls quite frequently. They seem to bunch up along the outer edges of the rolls worse than in between the rolls.
Other than that, I'm satisfied with it and would recommend it.

Hello KYRILA, Royal CX6 is meant to shred 6 sheets of 20-lb bond paper at a time. We recommend you not to shred more than just 6 sheets of 20-lb bond paper at a time and try to neatly stack them. Thanks for your review. Royal Support Team
