They are not horizontal!
These brackets work fine...but they are not exactly horizontal. This means the angle of the shelves from the wall is not exactly 90 degrees ...the outer edge of each shelf is almost 1/4 inch above the inner edge. This is not an issue if you are just installing shelves on one wall. But if you are installing shelves on two wall that meet in a corner, it looks unprofessional.

Shockingly difficult to attach to shelves
For reasons that truly boggle my mind, Rubbermaid offers no guidance whatsoever on screw length or the best way to affix these brackets to shelves. Because why would you need to figure out what screws you need while you were at the hardware store, right? you can hold screws up to the side and guess, but chances are they’re going to be off by about a quarter inch, either too shallow to dig into your shelf properly, or too long where they stick out the top of the shelf. as for myself, I have to head back to Home Depot to try some different sizes to see which ones work. One thing for sure: definitely make sure they are machine style screws with flat bottom heads, otherwise the head will just stick out the bottom of the bracket. unbelievable that Rubbermaid does not offer ready to go screws for this purpose in their hardware kit, let alone simple guidance. Never buying from these guys again

I had to buy two more of these for my shelf project and they were just as good as the first four....
I had to buy two more of these for my shelf project and they were just as good as the first four.
The original idea was to put a 32" TV in the middle (where the binders are) but I found out I really didn't need to do that. My TV is over to the left and I thought it would cause a lot of neck strain to look over that way. Found out it doesn't, so I put up an extra shelf instead.

Great shelving bracket. Holds a lot of weight. I was able to organize my wood supply and get it off the floor. I like the whole system. It is easy to install and is reasonably priced.

They were a breeze to install and are easily holding...
They were a breeze to install and are easily holding shelves with a lot of weight on them. I was a bit worried at first about shelves sliding, but they're up high enough and have enough weight that I'm not too concerned anymore. I also believe there is hardware you can use to secure the shelves if you think it's necessary.

Built an 8 X 8 wall storage unit for my electronic projects & supplies. These brackets are super sturdy and strong. The finish is very good, no blemishes. I have bought these before for another shelf project a couple of years ago. I am very satisfied with Rubbermaid's shelf brackets and I will buy them again for my next project.

Never buy again...
Very frustrating. LITERALLY took as much time removing Rubbermaid stickers off of 3 rails & 9 shelf brackets as it did to mount the entire system. All shelf bracket stickers are the fancy type that have slices all through them to prevent the criminal element from switching to less expensive stickers. After removing each of 12 stickers in little tiny pieces, I had to clean each bracket with alcohol to remove glue. This would he a disaster for a contractor doing installations.
