Looks nice and sleek. Simple design that doesn't take up too much usable space under the shelf. Only complaint is that the bracket is slightly arched along the long side so it didn't sit flat against the shelf initially. After applying a load to the shelf, the bracket flattened out. Mounting the long side of the bracket to the shelf tightly should also allow it to straighten out. I used these to create a collapsible shelf in my closet so the long side of the bracket is not actually attached to the shelf (see picture).
Pros: good price, nice looking
Cons: Bracket is not square and wall screw provided with bracket for keyhole too big
I bought these with the Rubbermaid shelf. There are no instructions (either on the packaging or online) but I am pretty handy so I thought I could figure this out pretty easily. Two short screws for mounting bracket to shelf - check. Fit in keyhole - check. The problem comes when you try to square the bracket to the wall (or anything 90 degrees to the shelf surface) - the bracket angle is greater than 90 degrees, so what do you do, how do you install it - so the shelf angles up into the room when mounted on the wall, or so there is a gap between the bracket and shelf, or bracket and wall, or both? Also, do you manually screw in the wall screw where it's supposed to be a keyhole for ease of installation? The screw head is bound to get mangled because the screwdriver is blocked by the arch.
Customer service was helpful when I called.
