This step ladder has been a great addition to my wife's classroom. Since she is pregnant, I didn't feel comfortable with her climbing on chairs and desks to reach or hang things. I took this ladder up to her during post planning and used it to help hang some decorations. The ladder is easy to unfold. It has a heavy and sturdy feel but it is also easy to manipulate and move to where you need it. The legs of the ladder have rubber caps that prevent it from slipping. I felt secure and steady standing on the top step. When folded, the ladder is easy to store behind the door.

  • The 225 lb. Load Capacity step stool fits in a tight spot!

This is a Rubbermaid 3-step stool. I has a weight capacity of 225 lb. and is made of steel and plastic. There is a safety grip on the top handle and the plastic feet will not scratch the floor. It has a self locking feature so I know it won't close up on me as I start to climb or as I move about while standing on it. It closes easily with the finger release lock and folds up compactly to fit between my dryer and the wall. Overall, I am pleased with this step stool and would purchase again. The price seems about right when compared to other shorter stools offered.

  • Great multi-purpose stool!

I am not a tall person, so use stools and ladders daily around the house. This stool immediately replaced three others in my home. There are 3 steps, which get me up high enough to even reach ceilings comfortably. The stool folds out and locks securely and stays locked until I do a simple release to fold it back up. Non-skid feet on the legs keep it from sliding - I've had stools slide and fold up on me while painting, so this is a HUGE plus. The stool folds up very compactly and slides between my refrigerator and the wall nicely. Very solid build, but light enough to carry around with one hand. The steps are wide enough and deep enough to make me feel secure, even on the top step. An added bonus is the grip on the handle is designed so that I can grab it and feel more secure when climbing up and down off the top step The little details make this stool a big win!.

I needed a new step stool for my closet since I have two rows of bars, and I'm 5'2" tall. My winter clothes are on the top bar, and now I need them. I had an older step stool, but the handle wasn't as high and the steps not as wide. I would have liked even a higher handle, but this is a definite improvement all the way around. I feel more secure on this product, and as we grow older, more security is important.
