The threaded hole is mis-aligned on one of the two clevises I received. I need pliers to remove and assemble.

Nice power coating.

I got these because I thought that being painted with a smooth surface, they wouldn’t abrade my lifting straps. No problem there.Held the load (>10,000#) with no problems. However, the paint on the pins and in the threads of the clevis hole had fused into one solid mass. Like putting locktite on the clevis pin. Took a very large wrench on the pin and a stout bar through the clevis to break things loose. I will have to clean the paint out of the mating surfaces of the clevis and pin before using these again.

Nice product. Downside: The hole in the pin was not powdercoated and within 1 week has started rusting. Will have to get those pieces of the shackle re-powdercoated.

It is rated up to 9500 lbs. pull capacity which I think will be more than enough for pull my 2017 Jeep JKU or others during recovery. I will be using it for manual winching with my Hi-Lift with a tree hugger and the Keeper 20' x 3" x 22,500 lbs. Vehicle Recovery Strap I also bought from Home Depot. I wanted quality parts and RuggedRidge is a reputable brand, I will buy again if need more.

Works as stated

Good quality. I use them for linking tow straps to items.

Threads on crosspin are loose enough to allow opening even muddy

I didn't know Home Depot carried these and found them in the catalog online. Exactly what I need for my jeep
