It does a great job of waterproofing. I only gave it 3 stars because it is very expensive for a very small bottle that doesn't go very far at all. If it was a larger container and you get waterproof a whole outdoor patio set I would give it 5 stars. So if you have a large job you might look for something that will go farther or costs less. If its a very small job like a few pillows , I'd recomend.

I just got a bottle of this to waterproof some leather combat boots like i do every year. Something changed with this stuff, I’ve never had it discolor anything before, but this year my black leather combat boots ended up with a blue tint to them. There was also visible spotting on them once they dried. I reshined them with black shoe polish and reapplied, spotting happened again but the blue tint wasn’t as noticable. Expect discoloration from this stuff.

I have used this several times on shoes and other fabrics. It works very well.

I bought this to waterproof some fitted boat covers for a 20' runabout. I thought (1) bottle would do it, but had to go back for a second, and used every drop. It did make water bead, but water still seeps through, likely less than before. The nautical blue color got a little darker.

Sprayed on running shoes and feet are kept dry in rain and snow.

It definitely works!

I have not tried yet the full performance of this product but from my own observation, it does shows its application when I applied it to 5 pairs of mens shoes. It repels water...

It will darken light colors. It also causes the frabric to shrink or curl up.

when you consider this cost $15 for 11 oz, or $150 for a gallon it better work great. Gallon of gas $1.99 for comparison.

Got the sprayer and the spray nozzle doesn’t even work and my local Home Depot doesn’t have anymore in stock so I had to buy a spray bottle just to even use this stuff

This stuff is awesome on my work boots. I get them muddy and dirty working on my property. Take a hose to them at the end of the day and they are clean like new and no water on the inside. I’m going to buy out my local store on payday. You have been warned...

I did a ton of research before buying this and was hopeful I found a good product. I followed the directions to a T and knew the tips from other reviews going into it. I used 3 bottles for 8 cushions (4 chairs worth) and I used all of what I purchased. I only sprayed the tops and sides and skipped the bottoms of the cushions. Those small bottles go quickly. The sprayers were not consistent. One bottle had a great sprayer and the other two were terrible. I let the pillows dry for a whole week and they “dried” with a tacky/sticky residue. I wiped down the residue so we could sit on them after a week. They remain slightly oily and now they just attract dirt. They don’t seem to repel water. It’s like when you have sunscreen on and dirt sticks to you if you’re working in the yard. I don’t know how else to describe it. I’m so frustrated. I did everything right and feel my pillows are pretty much ruined as they will now just get dirtier faster. Definitely not worth the money. Going to now research replacement pillows :(
