Shopped around for some wheel paint for my Toyota rims that were shot. Had to use some aircraft stripper on the rims first. Then have them media blasted. Primed them with Rustoleum Primer. Then used 2 cans for four (4) rims of the Rustoleum High Performance Wheel Steel Paint. Used another 2 cans of Rustoleum Gloss Finish. Rims look as good as factory. Color is almost a dead ringer for the center caps. The local dealership said my rims looked awesome and asked if I wanted a job fixing people's rims. Lol. Way too much work but totally worth it. Only gave it 4 stars because I'm waiting to see if they hold up to a years worth of driving.

Good tough paint for wheels, panels and other aluminum parts. Wear protective masks and googles as there is a lot particulates in the air when painting. Cover area around objects being painted to reduce paint dust and metal flake particles.

I just wish there was a darker gray that could have been ordered. But there was not,

Pulled each tire off the truck, washed the rim with a degreaser, sand down with 320 grit, washed again and paint! Steel rims look like new! I even took a pressure washer to them trying to ruin the paint! It’s not coming off! Awesome product!

Looks great! Did two coats on four 16" wheels with a can and a half. Great coverage!

Just bought in my local home depot store "Puerto Rico" Rust-oleom wheel high peformance "silver" and the cover of the color its perfect for my 2012 Nissan Versa hubcaps!!
