The Rust-Oleum Home Eggshell White is a primer and paint combined in single gallon of paint. The average paint coverage is 400 square feet, it may require additional coats of paint, as an example if you are painting a light color over a very dark existing color it may require additional coats of paint. It spreads evenly and smoothly using both a roller application and cutting in with a brush.

I love this paint. It's so cool that you can order online or get from store and it's ready to paint. No need to wait for it to be mixed. I was very surprised that the paint didn't need much hand mixing once opened. The color is great and probably the most popular color today for painting interior walls in a light gray shade. The paint has a low order and great coverage. I had to use 2 coats but I've never been able to use just one coat after many many tries even with the paint that guarantees one coat. I was surprised to have so much paint left over from my job. I only used half a can on a medium sized walk in closet. It dries really quickly I was able to remove tape about an hour and 15 minutes after painting my second coat. I love the paint and the color. I highly recommend if you are wanting to paint your walls gray and you don't have to worry about waiting for it to me mixed.

I used this paint for a really fun wall project. My main wall in my living room was super boring and i wanted to create a pop of color, so i actually used the white as an accent color. This paint went on really easily and being water based, cleaned up nicely. The only thing about this paint i found, is that unlike other higher end paints from home depot, this one coat coverage and primer included, wasn't quite as advertised. I used 3 coats to get the brightness and coverage i wanted but i am sure happy with the results.

I had the opportunity to evaluate this Rust-Oleum paint product. It took a long while to receive the sample product. The project that was planned was done by delivery time and Seeds only gives 20 day to review. I will update review in the future with a more comprehensive evaluation. I applied the paint to a scrap piece of woodgrain interior wall siding as an example and it turned out quite well with even first coat over textured bare wood. Note the coverage is estimated at half over this surface. It applied darker than the dried finish which helps with proper wet to dry painting. It dries to touch in one hour and 4 hours to recoat like most interior wall paints. The color selected is a light subtle off white that is called "Over the Moon" This appears to be very durable once dried a week. Less expensive than the "Paint Store" brands and works just as well. Photo is not color correct due to my phone and interior lighting.

This seems to be a pretty good product, it has good coverage, has a nice finish, and dries at a decent rate. I like to use a smooth roller to apply interior paint because it leaves a better finish and this paint comes out great with it. I did notice that the fresh paint smell wasn’t as strong as other paints that I’ve used, but it’s still good to have a well ventilated area.

Descent quality paint. The consistency is somewhere between thick and thin, so I would say about medium. I was able to paint my bare hardwood trim boards with one coat and it covered the trim nicely however a second coat made the sheen better. This is not a primer in one paint so you may need a primer however i did not use any primer and it seemed to cover up and stick to the wood evenly without any noticeable issues. I have had the paint on the trim for little over a week now and it still looks like the day I painted it. The color is a bit liter when it drys then when it goes on wet. And it does dry quickly and cleans up with water easily. If you are trying to imagine the color of the café tint, think of it as a bit of an off-white color. Very easy to mix and the paint does gives off a medium typical paint odor, it is not too string but is noticeable. Ensure that you are painting in a well ventilated area.

This paint seems to work pretty good, it has good coverage, nice finish, and dries pretty quick. I like to use smooth rollers to apply paint to get a better finish and blend in without those uneven marks that I see a lot of people get. But even the smell of this paint wasn’t very strong but it’s still good to have a well ventilated area. I applied 2 coats and it still seemed to cover a lot of area.

Rust-Oleum's Home interior paint is definitely not a one (1) coat product. It took me two (2) coats to get good coverage. It did roll on very well. I especially liked that brush strokes were easy to blend when the roller went over them. A feature of this product that I was pleasantly surprised with, is the mold and mildew resistance. With that said, I decided to use it in my two (2) car garage and am happy so far. The eggshell finish hides imperfections and should be more "scuff resistant" than flat or satin finishes. Clean up was a breeze! A little dish detergent and warm water was all it took to clean out my brushes. As for any paint on my hands? Most came off with a bit of scrubbing, but the rest will have to wear off!

RUST-OLEUM HOME 1 GAL. FLAT SANDBANK INTERIOR WALL PAINT (2-PACK) Is a one coat paint that covered the unpainted surface easily. The paint is the same color as the photos on the can. It does dry a tiny bit darker than advertised. The flat paint was a low sheen and did not reflect light. It was a great color choice for a beige. I highly recommend for one coat coverage

Good mid-quality eggshell paint in Sandbank, which is a nice neutral warm beige hue. The paint comes in two gallon cans, well packed and sealed. The rim protector came off easily, the can lid was a little difficult to pry up, but came off with a little work. When I opened the can the slight ammonia smell of latex paint hit my nose, but it wasn't overwhelming and so I would consider the paint low VOC. I tried the paint on a wall in a bedroom that had been painted with a more yellowish magnolia white. This color is less yellow and more truly a sand color. Not too gray or too pink, so would go well with a lot of other colors both on the walls and in the decor. The paint itself went on smoothly. I intentionally painted over a few dark marks on the wall and the paint covered them easily with no bleed through. I'd definitely consider it on a par with other paints at this price point. Having a good neutral that can be ordered pre-mixed takes the time and trouble out of waiting in store for your paint.

The Rust Oleum Paint arrived in a box well packaged and ready to use. I used it on my basement in a room where there is not much light so the Main Street in flat looks elegant and maintains the room looking bright. I used a sprayer to paint and it was easy to do so. I had a light color and it went over nicely, it also dried pretty fast. I liked how much it covered with a minimal amount of paint. It is easy to clean and it did take two coats in some parts while only one coat in others. the instructions are easy to follow, can be used with a brush or a sprayer as I did. Overall it looks great and it was easy to use.

I really was excited about this brand making interior paint. I really was prepared to love it. It fell short for me however. The instructions boast that the paint will dry in about an hour.. and it does. But I believe it is because it is so very thin. This paint is a paint and primer all in one. Yet I still had to put at least 3 coats on for good coverage.,,, more if you want supreme coverage. The paint is very streaky as you can see in my photos. The color dries much lighter than the sample card. And you can also see that it runs and drips, even after applying a very thin coat.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Keep in mind that when painting over contrasting colors, especially dark colors, multiple coats will be needed for full coverage with Rust-Oleum Home Wall Paint. To help with the coverage, we recommend priming first with Rust-Oleum Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer.

I love this Rust-Oleum Home Flat White Interior Paint. I just had the painters in and he told me this was very good paint. It went on smoothly and cleaned up easily. I love the way it looks and is going to be easy to clean. Very good quality. It is easy to find at your local Home Depot store. I would highly recommend Rust-Oleum Home Flat Interior Paint.

Very smooth and will cover well on first coat. I was surprised to see that very little mixing is needed since the color is in the paint. I prepared my new wall board and applied the paint over it and it covered the wall with little effort. It was easy to cut into the corners and above the baseboards. The paint dried in about a half hour and was smooth to the touch. I liked the Rust-Oleum paint over others that I had previously tried. I definitely recommend this paint and it lives up to the high quality that you get from the spray cans.

We bought two cans of the rustoleaum pre mixed paint in main street grey color. It was going to have to coverup a pretty dark color and I was never that it was going to take a few coats. Best part was, in most spots it only required one coat! It is lighter colored than the paint swatch that is online but look at the paint color on can is spot on. We did do a second coat in some areas but that was mostly because the paint was applied by a brush and left some minor holes. It went on smooth and flattened out well. We LOVED the finished product and acreddit it to the Rustoleum pre mixed paint we chose! I

I have used Rust-oleum paints for metals and have always been satisfied with those paints, but I have not their paints for for walls. I found the paint to be have a nice consistency and viscosity similar to other high quality paints. The paint did a nice job of coverage with a single coat. The color is similar to the color shown on the lid and the finish is flat as expected. I would use this for any job.

We ordered this item to repaint our bedroom/bathroom area. Our home had been painted by the contractor before we moved in and it was flat paint, which is not to our taste in a very cool pinky beige color. Yuck. We’ve put a few trial swatches up on the wall and this paint appears to be a nice toasty warm almond hue with a hint of yellow tone in it. We’ve never tried Rustoleum paint for indoor projects, but our experience with their products on outdoor, tough to paint things leads us to believe it should be great, long lasting and easy to apply. Fingers crossed!

I like this Rust-Oleum wall paint. My wife loves the color and that we have finally painted over the builders flat with an eggshell. The instructions say this Is a primer and paint combination that may require two coats for uncoated walls. We were painting over an existing flat cream color that didn’t require two coats. I used a high-quality brush to cut in the trim and the paint was very smooth and easy to apply. I also felt it was easy to cut in a very clean line. Overall, this Rust-Oleum is probably going to be our new choice for wall paint.

Received the Rust-Oleum Home 1 Gal. Flat Sandbank Interior Wall Paint (2-Pack). Yes, it's 2 separate gallons packaged together. The premixed Sandbank color is a nice light tan sort of color that seems to be on trend with what's popular now. Like all paint, it dries a bit darker than what you first see when you open the can. It's a paint and primer mix with great coverage. It says it will cover up to 400 sg ft per gallon. I used it in a bathroom and did 2 coats for extra thick coverage. I also like that it supposed to be mold and mildew resistant. Overall, a good quality paint and primer premixed to an on trend tan color.

I used the eggshell paint over a semi-gloss paint in our bathroom and the first coat did not cover as well as I expected it to. My guess, after using the same brand (Rust-Oleum) of flat paint on other walls previously painted with flat paint, is that the eggshell did not cover as I anticipated because I was trying to cover a semi-gloss finish with an eggshell finish. You can't tell in the pictures but, even though I applied ample paint on the first coat, the coverage was incomplete. I also would advise you to buy a sample of this color before investing in a full gallon because it is a very, very pale pink and, again, that was not what my wife and I anticipated. It looks good and is washable but the color paler than anticipated. All in all it looks good but the palest pink needed 2 full coats to cover a wall previously painted white. It also is supposed to dry for FOUR hours before applying a second coat. FOUR hours for a latex paint? Wow! I hope you find this helpful

My review is for Rust-oleum indoor wall paint. I was excited to give this brand a try. The color I chose was called Uptown Cafe. I am in the process of remodeling a attic room into a craft room. The color is very creamy and soft looking. There is no smell at all, which is always a concern of mine. I have read reviews stating this product was thinner than others. I have found this not true compared to my usual Behr purchases. It glides on and covers well. Dry to the touch in 60 min. Second coat I waited 4 hours. Like the paint and primer in one, always choose that type of paint. I prefer using a brush when possible and this fit the bill easily. There is now competition out there. I will be choosing this brand going forward. Hope you can see from the photos how well it hides imperfections. This might sound like a silly pro but the large disc with the color is so helpful to me.

I applied a to a test area on a stairway I am refinishing that leads from the basement to the garage, as it is mold and mildew resistant. It went on evenly and covered well in one coat. It doesn't do anything out of the ordinary as far as hiding imperfections, but dries in an even and uniform coat. I found that using egg shell doesn't show the imperfections as much as a gloss paint, but cleans easier than a flat in most cases. I like the color, but I don't know if some people will be turned off that they can't pick out specific shades, but this works well in a lot of situations where you just want to neutral color on the wall. I tried to show the contrast of before and after in my pictures (both wet and dry), but they honestly didn't come out to well. Take my word for it though, it produces a nice finish and will look great once I'm done prepping my walls.

This paint has really good coverage. It is paint plus primer in one can. It will go on smoothly and be dry in an hour for touching but will need 4 hours drying time for a recoating. Once it has dried it is washable. It is also mildew resistant which is good for use in a bathroom where the shower is used every day. You can get about 400 SF of coverage from one gallon. I like to use a single pigment paint like this to mix colors. I wanted to mix a paler color of the blue that I used on the bedroom walls so that the trim wasn’t such a stark contrast with the wall color. I can use this paint to mix colors to create a lighter or darker color for an accent wall. To make it lighter than the wall paint, I mixed a few drops into a cup of this paint so that I knew how much I needed to add for the desired color. I then tested and added a few more drops until I got the tint that I wanted to use. Once I knew how many drops I needed per cup, I could mix up as much as I needed to paint my trim.

Are you searching for a high quality paint that won't break the bank? Then this is the paint for you. It goes on easily and smoothly. The color is vibrant, clean, and simply beautiful. For my project one coat was enough although on some projects an additional coat is recommended. It is washable, mold and mildew resistance. Clean up was easy. Great paint, excellent quality, and high end.

Great for painting over other colors, finishes and raw wood. I used the flat black interior paint to treat a bulletin-board area in our Scout room at the church, and I also used it to repaint a Halloween decoration coffin. Both applications required only one coat. It went on a little thinner than I expected, but maybe that’s because I’m used to the thicker Rust-Oleum enamels. The result was still great (see photos). I also used the RustOleum paint plus primer in flat French Linen (slightly off-white) to paint my family room. For painting the room, I covered a total of 320 square feet, including a hallway and 3 doorways. We used two cans, and needed almost every bit of it for two coats of this. The can says under ideal conditions, you can cover 400 sq feet with one can. My wall already had prior coats of semigloss white, so I thought it would have gone on with just one coat. But it was a different shade of white, and we were generous with our brushing and rolling action (See photos & 1 min video). I am very happy with the results, both with the flat black and the French Linen white.

For any painting project the labor and the preparation time is same whether you use a high quality paint or not so why not use the best paint? For this reason, I look for a paint that is of high quality and provides one coat coverage. I also prefer non-oil based paint because cleaning up is easy. To get the best results I use high quality bushes and rollers. This paint from Rust-Oleum (a well known brand) meets these requirements. I like that it goes on easy and spreads like butter and that it provides a one coat coverage. I also like that it dries just in one hour in nice washable finishing as shown in the picture. Since it is mold and mildew resistant it is an ideal paint for high humidity areas such as basements and bathrooms. I used it to paint our bathroom and adjacent room. The can has a plastic retaining ring on top and to remove it simply use a can opener or a plier to pry it off. Clean up is easy with soap and warm water. It comes in many colors and finishing to create your dream home.

This paint has a built in primer which allows you to cover other colors of paint a little easier. This paint dries to the touch in about an hour and another coat can be added in about 4 hours. It is also good for bathroom being that it is mold and mildew resistant.

Having been a painting contractor for 25 years, I have used a fair number of paints. The product implies single coat coverage by stating that 2 coats are required for new or uncoated surfaces. I see nowhere that they actually claim one coat coverage, just this implication. In my 25 years, I have never come across a paint that stands up to a one coat coverage claim. There are a couple products that come close, this is not one. Nothing wrong with that, you should always expect to apply two coats. One very positive attribute of this paint is it's brush spread-ability. It flows nicely as you use the brush to apply it. My project with this paint was on the smaller side, so I did not need a roller only a brush. It was very easy to spread the paint. That counts for a lot in my book. I very much like the Summer Storm color. It is one of those colors that will vary a lot depending on how much and how the light hits it. Ours ranges from a deep gray in lower light to nearly lavender in bright sunlight. Good paint at a decent price.
