removed vinyl wood flooring. spent most of my time on prep. cleaned floor and rinsed over and over until rag/bucket water clean. used floor fan to help speed up the in between steps. applied one coat, then the next 1 hour later. 6hrs later I applied top coat, done.

If you’re doing white… The first thing I want to say is one coat will not cover definitely I would end up getting the gallon of white two coats is good but three is even it took a lot of work to do my Mexican tiles but they ended up looking terrific and they’re holding up super well. I decided to paint my dark gray walls pure white and then do white floors I’ve hated these tiles for the last 10 years since I moved into this house so it was time to do something make sure you clean it really well no matter how many times you try to put the topcoat on without any specks of dust or sediment it will be there just take a rag with you and tap it and it comes right off the biggest thing is white is very hard to get even but once it’s on it seems like it’s going to stay forever

This kit is easy to use the paint went on perfectly. I purchased 2 kits. One I had tinted and the 2nd I kept white. Now on to my laundry room.

I like how matte top coat looks, but when I open it, it looks super weird, no matter how many times that you mixed then, it still didnt dissolve all the way, from the picture you can see some of them floating stuff and huge stuff at the bottom

This was a nice kit. Super easy to use, the box told you everything you would need, and the finished product looks really nice. No sanding needed! The floor I was doing was small enough that one kit did the trick and I was able to do it in one day. Good coverage and the top coat feels nice and smooth. Highly satisfied!

Easy to use, just time consuming depending on area needed. Only did 1 coat of color + matte top coat. I used the Vanilla Milkshake color (creamy light neutral). I was impressed with how easily it covered over the brown grout. What a difference!

I've used it on 3 surfaces. I painted entry way tile, fireplace surround (also tile) and linoleum floor. Painting a floor is difficult. The amount of debry that lands in drying paint may drive you crazy. Tile is 1 coat, linoleum takes 2 (10+ yrs old).

I love the outcome but this wasn’t an “easy fix!” We spent a lot of time sanding and prepping the stairs that were covered in carpet glue. Well worth all the time! I highly recommend! Follow the instructions closely!

Difficult to choose colors without samples. I used 2 coats of base color (oyster shell), 1 coat of stencil color (vanilla milkshake), & 2+ coats of topcoat (entire can). Followed detailed instructions on DIY Playbook blog.

This stuff SUCKS to be very honest. It lasted about three days before my dog walked on it and her nails scratched it from stepping on it. Can’t imagine what it would do if we had shoes on and actually walked on it. Waste of money

I painted over some hideous white tile with the charcoal gray, and it looks so much better! I really hope the paint will be durable. I used the matte top coat.

This product is excellent! My floors look 100% better .

We have waited 6 months to write a review, unsure of how the floor coating would hold up in high traffic areas. The simple answer is…great! We recently re-did one tile (stained with permanent dye) and it worked perfectly, again. Great product.

This color is as described! Love it and will be using it again. Goes on smooth, and have had tons of compliments. Definitely recommend

This paint is great for tile

So far, so good. It’s a little early to determine how it will hold up, esp. since I just washed the floor for the first time earlier today.

We decided to use this product to paint the outdated pink granite tiles around our fireplace. I was worried about the outcome but so glade we took the plunge. It completely transformed our outdated fireplace! It says no prep work needed but we decided to sand it first and used two base coats.

The base coat went on well. Had to use a brush to paint the grout. Took two coats. Looked nice. Top coat did not go on evenly with a roller. I probably should have done a little more research on roller type to use. The roller I chose soaked up half a can of top coat. Then didn’t go further than two tiles. Ended up using a brush and two more quarts to finish the job.

The end results are amazing! . I needed 3 coats to get the color good. It is fairly SOLID, but highly recommend adhering to the wait times and giving it a few days before use to fully set. Black definitely shows dirt more easily. Not an issue of the product, just my color choice. It is the look I wanted and no regrets using this product!

I was skeptical, and still am, but, so far so good. I followed the instructions and then some. I used a single disc floor scrubber (swing machine) with commercial degreaser to clean the floor, and sucked it up with an industrial wet vac with a squeegee. Then I rinsed it with fresh water. I let it dry for 24 hours and then wiped it down by hand with clean towels, follwed by a microfiber flat mop. I taped, edged, and rolled on the paint. It went on easy. I let it dry overnight and did touch ups, mostly on the grout lines. There were two tiles where we had a plumber install a new gas line for a new oven, where the paint did not take. I scraped it off, degreased, and tried again. It adhered better, but still not good. At least it's under the stove. I don't know if the plumber used something that did this. I waited two more hours and applied the clear top coat. We waited 24 hours before walking on the tile, and will wait the full 72 before carefully moving applianced back into the kitchen. It looks great, especially with the matte top coat. I really hope it is durable and lasts.

I don't normally do reviews with pics but I wanted with this because I think they are worth just as much as my words. Our church is old and the ladies' restroom looked terrible. You can only strip, wax, and buff so many times and the tile itself doesn't look the greatest. I wanted something that would stand the walking, dragging bags, or whatever across the floor and it still remains a good-looking floor. From the pics you will see the old floor, after base coat, and then the clear gloss coat. I will admit that I didn't follow all the instructions. The one I ignored was to pick a small test area. I went all in and did the first half of the floor. I did, however, follow the instructions on making sure the floor was clean. On May 4, 2021, I swept the floor, mopped, and then used a cleaner that was recommended by an employee. Once it was all dry, I applied the base coat. I like the different colors that were offered and I selected Sandstone. I allowed for 24 plus hours of drying time even though the instructions say differently. The next day I applied the clear coat and allowed 24 plus hours before walking on it. I am still pleased with the results. I use Pine-Sol to mop the floor and no issues. The scuffs that have appeared are easily wiped off the floor. I can't say for certain it works on every floor, but it definitely did what we needed on ours.

Color is why I gave it a 4..Picked Gray Owl which should have been a light gray but dried a lot darker. I painted 2 coat of color and 2 coats of matte finish. After 2 weeks no issues. Clean the floor well before applying so the color base will stick.

I bought the french gray and the white for my bathroom. They both went on top of this dark red tile and I needed two quarts of the white to cover it completely and only one of the gray. The french gray is more of a gray blue rather than the color shown in the photo

Love the Pearl Gray color, really need an update to my kitchen. Glad I found this product. Even added some stenciling to top it off.

First, the clear coat arrived like previously opened and with 3/4 of the gallon, its been 5 days since applied and still gets peeled, followed all the steps and even sanded the floor.

So easy!

Ordered the vanilla milkshake thinking it was a cream color based off the online image, however, it turned out to be a weird blue-ish off white/grey color . Pictures to follow! Otherwise, the paint gets the job done . Will be hesitant to purchase again due to the lack of consistency.

I wanted to test out the floor paint in my upstairs bathroom before using it in my main one. After the result I’ll definitely be moving forward to paint the main bath! The product is easy to use and the directions are easy to follow. And it’s only been a couple of months so far but it’s held up well! I thought the hardest part was picking the color since I couldn’t really get a sample. But I loved what it did for my old ugly floors. Can’t wait to use again!
