Used as a sealant and blistered and peeled paint write off
Used to seal dried project using Rust-oleum 2x paint. Blistered and pulled the paint right off.

Let's see what we can figure out Melissa. For best results, apply two or more light coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint a few minutes apart. If recoating is necessary, recoat in under 1 hour or after 48 hours. Recoating after 1 hour or before 48 hours (longer at cooler temperatures) may cause the solvent in the new coat to dissolve the film (skin) that has formed, resulting in blistering, wrinkling and/or peeling. Also, do not sand before recoating since this breaks the film.

Great stuff!
I used this product to refresh some metal plant stands that had started to rust. I used a wire brush to remove the lightly rusted stands and a grinder on the two that were more seriously rusted. Then I cleaned them and sprayed them with Rust-Oleum 2X to make them look good again. It was so easy to apply and looked so great afterwards. Besides the plant stands, I also used it on metal hanging baskets. I used Red Apple Gloss, Deep Blue Gloss, Spa Blue Gloss, and white and black gloss. I am totally pleased with the way these turned out. There are so many beautiful colors to choose from and the price is reasonable at $3.98 per can. Thanks for this great product.

Love the color! Used many thin coats with quick dry in between and sanding. I painted 5 chairs , 1 bench , and 3 side tables for my back yard. Looks great! Can't wait to paint a few more pieces. I primed first with 2x light grey flat primer.
