waste
Followed directions to a T. It looked so good, no bubbles like other reviews. Waited 3 days for one side of the garage and 5 for the other before we parked inside. Now where our tires sat all the paint and sealer peeled off. So much money and time wasted, so annoyed

Yellows in UV light
The first 2 weeks were great and then the area outside the garage door began to get darker and darker yellow. It has only been 2 months and the area outside continues to get darker yellow. I can also see it starting to turn a light yellow in areas inside the garage where the sun shines. Very disappointed.

Let's see what we can figure out! Rust-Oleum RockSolid Polycuramine Garage Floor Coating is for application only indoors. Two-part Polycuramine and two-part epoxy coatings do not contain UV inhibitors, they will yellow when exposed to sunlight.

Polycuramine seperates and really sucks
Do not buy this product. Had this professionally installed and it still failed. Each bag has a diffeeent color. It is more expensive and has many faults.You can prepare your floor as much as possible with degreasing and cleaning then etching, But it wont matter cause this stuff separates and then dissolves the paint chips. Its actually the craziest crap I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve got pictures to prove it. I am a very meticulous person. Use their 2nd tier Epoxyshield brand instead.

That is not what we like to hear! This reaction shown in the photo provided is known as fisheye development, and results from a surface contaminant either on the surface, or the decorative chips. The chips are not being dissolved, however, there may be a residue on some chips from when they were handled and broadcast over the surface during the application. Wiping the surface with a solvent prior to applying the clear topcoat will prevent this reaction. It is also good practice to wear disposable gloves when applying the coatings and handling the decorative chips to avoid contaminating the materials with any oils during the process. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

I used three kits to cover 1,320 square feet. The top coat definitely finished off the product and was almost a necessity (would rate it as 5 start). However, the RockSolid Polycuramine kit that I use for the initial coating had a lot of imperfections. The color matching right out of the bag was not consistent. I have to do my house garage floor next, and I am not 100% sure i would actually use the same product next time.
Coverage was right on. There was none to spare. I would not have enough if I put it on thick. However, I think my results may have been better.
I really liked it, but I am dissatisfied with the actual results, considering it is from RustOleum.

Oh no, this is not what we like to hear! Rust-Oleum RockSolid Polycuramine Garage Floor Coating is a two component coating, the base side of the easy burst pouch contains the pigment and color, the other side of the pouch is the activator. Once the pouch is burst it is important to mix thoroughly, including working the corners of the base side of the pouch to get all the color evenly distributed. We used the grey rock solid with the chips on our garage floor and then wanted to put a clear coat on it to make it shinny and protect it. This product lasted less than 3 months before the entire 4' from door in turned very, yellow. A very expensive product that is crap. When I called to see what we could do I was told that it says on the package it's for "inside" garage use. (Who has an "outside" garage!) What they do not tell you is if you leave your garage door open with the only the screens closed (SW Florida) it will yellow where the sun hits it. BEWARE if the sun hits this product even through a window it will yellow where the sun comes in the window and hits the floor. We cannot leave the garage floor like this and now need to sand it off, redo the grey and then find another product that will hold up. DO NOT purchase this product unless you are using in a basement that has no windows or doors and cannot let any sunlight in!! $300 bucks and a lot of sweat down the drain and customer service from Rust-o-leum could care less. Very condescending that we should have known better than to open our garage door!

That is not what we like to hear! Our RockSolid Garage Floor Kits are suitable for use inside a garage, however, prolonged exposure to UV from the sun will discolor the coating over time. Most home windows block UV, and will not cause the coating to discolor. We offer a satisfaction guarantee and proudly stand behind our products. Seriously AVOID AT ALL COST!!! READ THE RECENT REVIEWS ABOUT BUBBLING PAINT AND LACK OF MATERIAL!!! 24 hours after applying this product it's starting to bubble up all over the place. This is newly poured concrete that's been allowed to cure for 50+ days, then washed with Rust-Oleum Cleaner and Degreaser (#301243), then washed again Rust-Oleum Concrete Etch and Cleaner (#301242), allowed to dry for 24 hours, then taped 4mil thick plastic sheeting and let it sit there for 24 hours to confirm no presence of moisture (since this is 50 day old cement, moisture was a concern). After seeing no water droplets, the product was properly mixed and applied in 73 degree ambient temperature per instructions. I feel like an idiot not listening to the other reviewers who had the same exact issues, i honestly just assumed they didn't read the instructions properly and did not let the concrete cure. I followed the instructions and ended up with a floor I now have to sand and redo. Also instructions stated this was enough for 200-250sqft of bare concrete, it was just enough for my space slightly under 180sqft.

That is not what we like to hear, Bobby! The coverage of our RockSolid Clear Topcoat Floor Coating Kit is up to 250 ft² per kit when applied to smooth, interior concrete. The concrete pictured appears to be aggregate, rough-finished concrete, which is much more porous than the floated concrete traditionally found in garages and basements. Rough or broom finished concrete will reduce coverage significantly, and can also lead to outgassing of the concrete due to the porosity of the substrate. Outgassing occurs when concrete warms up, releasing air from the concrete. When a coating has just been applied, this will create bubbles in the coating as it cures. To prevent outgassing, we recommend applying in the early morning, or later in the evening when the concrete has begun to cool down. this is not a bad product. if you clean the floor well and etch it blah blah blah AND PRIME IT! regardless of what the directions say you should prime the floor after all your prep. before you go and throw one of these kits down on your floor and realize o SOB! i need a lot more, buy at least double the amount. we did a 7x15 room with 1 blue single car garage kit and 1 silver. then for the clear coat it took every bit of the 2.5car garage kit to cover. see picture. 1st time doing this.
we will see how it holds up. floor has not seen much foot traffic yet

I put this over the Rocksolid Black floor coating one day after putting on the black product. It covered well. I used 1-1/2 kits (pouches) for my 500 ft2 garage floor. I mixed in 1 bag per kit of the anti-skid, but I wasn't terribly happy with the results as no matter how well I tried to mix this (I mixed the bag before every pour) the end of the product had much more anti-skid which dulled the finish significantly. I would not use the anti-skid again. By the way, I used 3 out of 4 packages of the Black to cover the garage floor first coat with good coverage, so I would say the coverage is about 170 ft2 per pouch on my floor which was 50 years old and of average roughness.

I would say it's a great product I would recommend checking the very well before you leave the store my package only had sticky residue on the outside of the seal and and you could not tell it was open once I mixed it together it Harden quickly and did not get a chance to use one unit
