[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray paint gives great coverage is easy to use and dries pretty rapidly. It’s seems pretty durable no chipping or peeling yet! This is a beautiful color. I received 6 cans and haven’t even touched half of one can! I have a great project in mind and can’t wait to use more!

The select a spray idea is a load of crap. I had it set to the third position and it ran all down the side of the can, all over my hand and on my floor! Ugh, stop it with the fancy crap and go back to the original spray nozzles.

The paint kinda got in the dial part when I was using it so I kinda couldn't tell which number was which anymore. I liked that there were several different options. The plastic covering the trigger let me paint longer before my thumb started hurting, so that was nice. Odor wasn't any worse than any other spray paint. Took two cans to do the front of this bench. I would probably use this product again.

I touched up a ser of wheels before getting new tires installed. I used Rust-Oleum spray paint and the clear gloss. The gloss gave them a nice deep looking paint look. Turned out great. No paint runs.

It sprayed out of the top of the can (not out through the nozzle) causing a huge mess all over the surface I was NOT trying to get paint on. Horrible design and clearly flawed. Will never use this design again. Stick to what works.

I used about half the can and then it stopped spraying. I think think the 5 spray idea is good but the implementation is poor. After having my problem I searched the internet and found quite a few complaints about this. The whole cap can be pulled and twisted off to get the the spray tube. It seems that the tube was not stropped up it just would not work when pushed down. A paper clip did not dislodge any blockage. I drove a nail into the can to check pressure and there was plenty of pressure.

I painted small diameter items like pvc pipe, and I also sprayed broad pieces like 1x6 wood. I know Rustoleum is a trusted named brand and I have used it several times before. This new dial is a game changer for my projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a good speay but not sure on the color. I love the spray dual thought as I sprayed a garden pole to see how it would look. It dries fast as well. I will be buying again but in different colors.

Make sure you test it first and spray it on a piece of cardboard or scrap to make sure its the spray pattern you want. Most may want a 12/6 o clock pattern so you can fan it right to left, which is what I did. Be careful of drips! do not stay at one area too long or it'll drip a lot. It's better to do multiple light coats. But before painting you may want to use a rust reformer type product to "convert" any rust.

Not only that, but it also dried up pretty fast. I like how you can control how wide you want the spray to be. That makes smaller projects much easier to do. The power of choice truly matters! Great stuff overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of having different spray patterns built in to the nozzle on the Rust-Oleum enamel spray paint. I tested the color “Cherry” which is a nice vibrant red. The can is comfortable to hold and the activator button is easy to press. I was quite impressed with the absence of harsh odor which is typical of my spray paints. I tested the difference in spray pattern on all 5 settings. Quite frankly, I do not see much difference between each of the settings when spraying at a distance of 6-8 inches. Perhaps spraying on something other than cardboard would produce different results. The drying time is average, taking 3-5 minutes to be 100% fully dried and no longer tacky. The first coat didn’t seem to provide full coverage, so a second coat was needed. Even after applying a second coat, once fully dried, the paint seemed a bit splotchy. I did not attempt a third coat. Overall, the Rust-Oleum enamel spray paint is a decent product, and the company is well-known, however, I don’t think the 5 different custom spray setting made enough difference to warrant searching for this specific product over a standard spray paint. I received this product free of charge from Influenster and Rust-Oleum in exchange for my honest opinion.

Paint leaks out from the cap and runs down the side of the can and gets all over your hands. Now my hands look like Smurf hands for a couple of days until it wears off. Disappointed with Rustoleum, I like their paints but not the new spray can. I have an almost full can and I can not use it without the paint getting all over everything. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, it will disappoint you. I hope they bring the original spray nozzle back, if not there is always Krylon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray paint is so much better than other spray paints I've used in the past! The color is very accurate to the color shown on the cap. I love that you can change the spray pattern between 5 different types which makes it very versatile! I really like the spray button also because it's a lot wider than others which doesn't cause finger fatigue. The satin finish is really beautiful! The only negative thing for me which isn't that big of a deal is you must clean the spray nozzle if you want to use it on multiple occasions because the paint will dry and shoot out the next time you use it. I would also suggest using 2 coats to get an even finish. I can't attest to the claim of being corrosion resistance yet but overall it's a really good spray paint and definitely worth the buy!

It was nice to be able to change the direction of the spray without having to turn the can. It dried fairly quickly and covered well. Will definitely purchase again for future projects

Anyway, my teen/adult girls and I sprayed some lawn furniture, at my Moms house. It is metal. It sprayed evenly and it was very smooth! Loved the spray options!!! The furniture looks like new! I gave it 4 stars for now because I want to see if it holds up and doesn’t rust like it claims. If it stays looking like it does now, I’ll definitely get more for our next project.

I was looking for an easy way to brighten up my deck and decided to refresh some of my outdoor planters, including an accent table, and a few other accessories. I decided to step outside of my usual color scheme (subtle, neutral, pastel) and go for the color Tuscan Sun to add an uplifting, cheerful, vibe and am so happy with the results. The new nozzle made my project so easy and super clean, with hardly any overspray. My deck gets full Sun and after six weeks the paint has remained vibrant and free from rust. Overall, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel with Custom Spray 5-in-1 made it super easy for my quick deck refresh project and I highly recommend it.
