Appears to have adhesion issues after completion...
I purchased quite a few cans for refinishing our patio sets, which it did quite nicely. Unfortunately, even after leaving them for up to 7 days for the paint to have time to fully set, when covered to protect from the animals, the paint quickly wore off back down to the bare metal. This happened on the backs of every chair when they were covered and the same thing happened on the edges of the tables where the covers touched. The furniture ended up looking very nice, as long as I don't try to cover it at all.

Oh no, this is not what we like to hear Alex! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Hammered Spray Paint does an excellent job adhering to ferrous and non ferrous metal, it cannot be applied to galvanized metal. Oil based paints and the zinc in galvanized metal are not compatible, the paint will peel off quickly. Please give us a call at 800-481-4785 so we can get to the bottom of what happened, and try to make things right.

I used this paint as part of a restoration on my radial arm saw & stand. The paint hardened to a tough and glossy finish, making it easy to wipe free of saw dust, while at the same time protecting the steel from rust. The end result is better than what I could have hoped for, and it now looks better than it did when new! I also used other Rustoleum colors for the handle and other components. (before & after photos included)

Amazing paint. I recommend to buy the paint can grip holder as well, it will make your job easy. Since I did it outside on the yard since I don’t have a close room to paint I think I used like 2 extra cans because of the wind. I also used a wire brush and rust dissolver for preparation before the paint. Wife is happy.
