It is vital to vigorously shake the can for at least 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle before pushing the nozzle and to shake often during use to keep the pigments mixed and avoid issues like clogging and sputtering. Most of our sprays need to be recoated within 1 hour or after 48 hours. If you sand before applying a new coat, we recommend waiting another 48 hours. This is done to prevent wrinkling, which sounds like what you experienced.
