Would have given 5 plus stars except I wanted to buy several cans but only one was available, darn.

The can cloggs if it’s rotated even slightly out of level. I have spent 4x on paint to complete my project than should have been necessary.

Can stopped spraying after a few minutes. Lots of paint in can tip not clogged. Store exchanged can no problem!

Rated a 2 only. You must use the whole can at once!!!!, if you save the half used can it will not spray for the next time. I cleaned the nozzles but it seems there is no pressure left in the can. This has happened numerous times.

Bought two cans. Neither lasted more than 15 seconds worth of spray. Garbage.

I have been a decorative painting teacher for 50 years. I use acrylics paints. When ever I paint on a slick surface, I spray first with Rust-oleum #7220. I use it mostly on tin surfaces, old silver trays and coffee pots, or wood like MDF that has no texture to the surface or a surface that had a previous finish applied. I sell painting patterns and always suggest this paint in my instructions.

Bought 2 cans. One of them stopped working halfway through the product. Tried switching tips, no luck.

Love the product. Easy to use.

Poor coverage. Cans easily clogged. Bad product.

The finish on this paint is really nice. It made an old closet clothing rod look brand new!

Paint is good, but during a continuous paint project all three cans that I bought clogged up and wouldn't spray the remaining paint.

I’ve been using Rust-Oleum paint for over 40 years without issue. This textured paint was horrible! I was spraying my outdoor bar and chairs and thought the texture would be a nice look. However, the cans clogged continuously, which had me running back to Home Depot day after day. Sometimes, I only sprayed for 30 seconds and the rest of the can was lost to it seizing up. When a can clogged, I followed the can instructions, pulled the cap off and dropped it into mineral spirits. No good. It’s not the cap, it’s the stem on the can that gets clogged and there is nothing you can do for that. I even called Rust-Oleum and they said I probably wasn’t shaking the can well enough, but I definitely was shaking it for well over a minute, and shaking it continuously throughout the job to make sure the textured paint was mixed well. This paint also sprays very unevenly, so I will now have to go over the entire job with a flat black paint to smooth things out. I should have stuck with flat black paint and I could have avoided wasting so many days for a job I typically do in just 1 day. Took me 14 cans of this paint at $8/can (usually use 4-5), to finish this job. Home Depot was very gracious however, in refunding me for the clogged cans, so kudos to HD customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this paint.

Paint can was clogged and did not work. Will return at next visit.

I must have picked up an old stock that’s been on shelf beyond reasonable. When I tried to use it, the can sputtered and spitted out paint intermittently and in uneven pattern. It made a huge mess by dribbling paint off the can and onto the floor and the work piece. I finally had to give up and repainted with another brand.
