Kit was great, we followed the instructions to the T, making sure to clean the cabinet doors and carcasses extra carefully. As from the photos, you can see the carcasses have already gone yellow. The doors we did a few weeks later but with the same kit, and they are still white. No doubt in mind they will start to yellow as well. Our cabinets get no direct sunlight etc. Normally I would recommend rust-oleum products but this is a big NO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i received the white/tintable base color. if this was purchased in store where paint is typically sold, it can be tinted to match any color that you want. i had to visit the store to get the shade tinted darker to match the room. extremely easy to use and follow instructions. i never could have done this on my own without the kit.

The great thing about this kit is the easiness of use and the greatness of the product for small areas like bathroom or kitchen DIYs and makeovers. Just follow the instructions and if you need to apply extra coating just go for it for a perfect finish. My old kitchen cabinets look lot nicer fresh and more lightened up!

Going to tint it Bubble Bath, blue on package. 10 linear feet of coverage per kit. I'll keep refreshing instead of replacing with Rust-Oleum.

With drying time, it took my wife and I an entire weekend to do two cabinets, but these formerly tired, oak cabinets look great! The instructions said two coats of bonding paint, but it took 3-4 to fully cover the oak underneath. This kit is perfect for a couple bathrooms or a small kitchen.

I have bought this kit in store in the past and the product is great. However this time I ordered it and it came all dented. Almost every can is damaged. I don’t recommend having it shipped. Just buy it in store.

The kit comes with everything you need to transform cabinets for a new look. I was impressed, I could even use it on previously painted cabinets and doors, without having to strip them. I used de-glosser first - worked like a charm, after followed with multiple coats of primer since my cabinets and doors were dark, then two coats of white. The paint goes on smooth it’s easy to work with. Lots of coats and lots of drying time in between. I would suggest using a roller instead of a brush for the topcoat. This product is amazing, but I must make sure I was following directions exactly. The instructions are very easy to understand and follow. It’s a wonderful DIY project for a long weekend. Love the finished look!

I.cant wait until we are finished with everything. This is easy to apply and its not a very long process! Its worth it, thats for sure!! I highly recommend this product!!

The kit comes with everything you need to restore outdated or unfashionable cabinets. I got the pure white kit and it worked amazingly well on my wooden painted cabinets. I do suggest you prep the cabinets very thoroughly before continuing on with the other steps. A lot of elbow grease and following each step is very important to achieve perfect results. It is a lot of work but the results are much better than what I was expecting. My cabinets look brand new at a fraction of the cost of replacing them. The Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations Kit is perfect for the Do It Yourself types. 1 kit was more than enough to do all my kitchen cabinets. I recently bought my first house and in the past year I’ve been working on small improvements. I was excited to get this, as my kitchen and some other things need some minor improvements. My kitchen cabinets are white, so the base color was perfect for this. I got two. If you need color, you can get the base and then your color of choice. The kit comes with a cleaner , a band coat, and a protective top layer. You will need basic painting supplies. First you clean surfaces, add the base coat and then the top layer. I found that the degreaser was an effective cleaner for my cabinets. The paint was also good, and it required a couple of layers, as they usually do for a good finish. I waited about two hours to apply the second coat.  After these were dry, and then added the protective top layer. It’s a good deal for what it comes with, and the instructions are very clear.  Overall, I liked the finish of the white, and it did make kitchen feel cleaner. This is a really useful product and I recommend to anybody who is working on home improvements, make sure to measure the square footage so you have the right amount!

I was so surprised how easily this Kit covered the dark wood of my cabinets and transformed them into white without sanding. Definitely recommend this to anyone who may not have the budget to replace cabinets, but want a new look. We kept ours a simple white but I read that it can be dyed/tinted at the hardware store. My friend just bought a kit and she is doing hers this week because she loved how mine turned out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that if I don’t want to use the white coat base I can go to a local store that has a paint counter to have it tinted to the color that I want. It can be used on wood laminate and metal fencing which is great. I have been wanting to change the color of my cabinets and dressers for a while but did not want to spend a lot out of pocket to replace them. I am finally able to do so in a more affordable way that will make my furniture look as good as new. My favorite thing is that I won’t have to sand or prime before application each kit covers up to 100 square feet and includes a cleaner/degreaser, a bond coat and topcoat. It’s easy to clean up your mess with just soap and water.

I love that you can take your paint to the hardware store and get it tinted to whatever color your heart desires! While I think I’m going to stick with the pure white, I do LOVE having the option! Your kit comes with everything you will need, minus a protectant for your floors and such plus a paint brush kit! But the kit DOES come with a sealant/top coat and degreaser (which I thought was AWESOME considering my cabinets definitely need a good clean before I start) and the paint itself of course!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes you have perfectly good cabinets (and/or don't want to go theough the cost and hassle of replacing them). This kit is even less work than I had originally anticipated, as it doesn't require sanding or stripping of the cabinets prior to application. There's a cleaning agent to apply, as well as the paint itself (tintable, but I stuck with the white), and a finishing coat. I found it to apply smoothly with a brush. It went a long way, too!
