I used this on the back side of my Kitchen Cabinets that face the Dining Room. The glass is mirrored and etched so this was a great item to change the mirror to a frosted pearl. It took me 4 days to spray these because of the wind and rain (Everett, WA weather). Spray'd light coats each time and ended up using the whole can to get the mirrors covered. Left outside til dark for the smell to go away so I could bring them in and out of the house each time. I think these turned out great. Will be using this spray paint again...Love it.

This Universal All Surface Gloss Dark Cherry Spray Paint and Primer in One 12 oz. can is good paint, however, the color is not the Deep Cherry color I was expecting. Everything about this product is outstanding except for that. The sprayer works like a champ and is very easy to apply in smooth even coats. I had no trouble while spraying of getting any paint on my thumb. Another thing I really like about this spray nozzle is that you can get good coverage no matter at what angle you hold the can at. I just wish the color was a true deep cherry. Attached is a picture sparing a coat on a piece of blue pine, left of the can, and a piece of oak. The oak came out a little darker than the pine. The pine came out looking like a pink color rather then dark cherry. On the value I only gave it 3 stars due to the high price. And yes, I realize this is a paint and primer but I just feel it is a little over priced. However, I will probably buy some more on down the line.

This oil based spray paint is advertised to work on just about any surface. I tried a decorative glass, metal, cardboard, black plastic and a wooden branch that had it's bark stripped off in a flood. After two coats, the spray came out evenly but the pearlescent quality was splotchy and only really evident on the black plastic. The decorative glass just looked gray. The paint did dry quickly and without any gummy residue on all items. The ergonomic cap is a far superior way to dispense the spray completely eliminating finger fatigue. The spray can also be applied from any angle. The paint was good, the applicator, excellent but the pearlescence, not so much.

I used this to spray paint a kitchen cabinet for a DIY island and I love the finish of this paint. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it leaked a lot as I sprayed. Be sure to wear gloves when using this unless you want spray paint under your nails for the next week. I spray paint often and have never had a bottle leak as much as this one.

After installing a new black light fixture my old mail box looked bad. I bought a can of Black Spray Paint with Primer included. I have never used this type of paint before but had to give it a try. I removed the mail box from the wall and cleaned it off. I gave it a quick light sanding with light sand paper. I then sprayed a thin coat on and thought it looked bad. I went back in about 20 minutes and gave it a 2nd coat. It looked a little better but still wasn't happy. I then gave it a 3rd coat and walked away. The next morning I went back and it looked great. I was surprised at the final out look of it. I now have a brand new looking mail box and it didn't cost me that much. I recommend it and will by again to do some more touch up painting.

I bought 2 cans to redo a small metal bistro set. The 1st can was so hard to squeeze the trigger that I have a blister, the 2nd can was easier but leaked all down the can and my hand (thankfully I had gloves on. The color is fabulous just wish the operation of the sprayer was more reliable. I have bought a 3rd can to touch up a few spots.

I SO enjoy spray painting dated items and re-creating them into something new and different. I used this to redo a dresser for a nursery. And then loved the color so much I redid an armoire for a guest bedroom. I used 4 cans for the dresser and 5.5 cans for my armoire. Went on easy and smoothly and looks perfect!!

I was a bit Torn writing this review because if you get a can that doesn't leak on you, it is a great product. Our shutter were getting really faded, and buying new ones would be very expensive. I used this before, and knew that the pain adheres to just about anything, so I purchased 12 cans. Three out of the 12 cans leaked at the bottom of the trigger just as so many other reviewers below mentioned. That being said, the other cans sprayed perfectly, and has a wide spray that gave very good coverage. I gave the shutters two coats, and the paint dried fast making the shutters look like new. What I did like is that you can see the pattern of the shutters thought the paint, and they actually look like they came from the factory. Rustoleum would have gotten a solid five start if it wasn't for the leaking can that gave my hands a fresh paint job, but they really need to work on this problem as it is really tough removing paint that leaked all over you project.

The color is as represented on the cap. Nozzle sprays up, down, and sideways. The paint/primer covers well but I painted bare oak table legs so I used more coats. The spray comes out like an aerosol deodorant, and the odor is that of nail polish remover. Use this paint type in an environment better ventilated than usual.

I used this paint to finish an aluminum amplifier chassis and it looks beautiful. A professional, elegant color -- like an eggshell white but warmer, creamier -- that often gets compliments from our guests. It's difficult to find primers, let alone paints, that adhere to aluminum, and this product does that well. I shook the can thoroughly before applying and had no problems with dripping or messiness, as noted in the other review. The sprayer is much better than traditional ones at covering broad, flat surfaces. It also got into the folds and seams of the chassis perfectly without my having to pay special attention to them. Applying multiple coats within 15 minutes of each other worked well. I will be using this color on all of my DIY stereo components going forward.

Sprays in a fog type pattern difficult to see what you've hit or missed.....the nozzle is also uncomfortable and akward feeling.....decided to go back to Krylon......the standard Rustoleum is a better choice than the universal....."universally Poor"..

Paint was easy to spray on and covered well. Had to use 4 cans for wicker dresser and 2 bed tables. Then didn't like the color so used another 3 of another color on top of that. Looks great but did have to spray twice and then again for places I missed with both colors.

It lays down a nice coat of paint, it also gushes paint all over your hand. So much that large drops end up all over the place. Avoid the spray from any angle type rust-oleum cans.

This is the best! You only have to use this once and it covers the surface. I always go for this brand.

I purchased 2 cans for a project and both sprayers leaked all over my hands. I had to wrap plastic around the cans and sprayer. After I used the first leaky can, I was surprised when the second can leaked. I hope it was just a bad batch since I will return it if it ever happens again. I said I will not recommend the product since I am not sure if this is something others will experience.

The trigger style sprayer is a finger saver. The paint goes on easily and gives good coverage.

My go-to is black so I was super happy to receive this matte black spray paint. It makes things look from dull to new right away. It's the perfect shade of black that I need for projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray paint is great for outdoor projects. Our mailbox and lawn chairs rust quickly due to the moisture and heat here. Every year I have to spray paint our mailbox or it looks faded and we get a letter from our HOA. I have used this product last year and this year, we just used it for good measure. It was the first time our mailbox withstood an entire year without fading. I will stick with this spray paint from now on..

The photo on the can is white-white, but when sprayed and dried it becomes off-white! What a bummer. I have to get another product and re-spray my piece because the off-white doesn't match what I needed it to be. Not only that, the trigger sprayer was a horrible mess! It got everywhere. It sure does dry quickly (hence my second star)- but it dried my gloves to the paint can and my gloves ripped. It's also a deceiving can, I swear it's smaller than normal cans, and have to get more than one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this on a number of surfaces including my front door and on a shelf. The paint sprays on easy and stays on. It holds up to weather such as rain. I have no doubt that it will hold with the heat as well. It has a strong black color.

The bottle/finger press is really easy to use and doesn't make your finger cramp up. I also love the matte finish, gives a really clean look to the final project.
