This carpet had a strong chemical smell...couldn’t stand/sit on or...
This carpet had a strong chemical smell...couldn’t stand/sit on or close to it the first few days without feeling a little dizzy after 5-10mins. I do like the look of the carpet, color is great and the pattern is what i wanted. I kept it because it would be a hassle to return and we are too busy to do that now, the same thing could happen with another carpet (?). Put a air purifier and open windows for a several days and it got better. Would recommend leaving it outdoors for several days to air out before using.

Thank you for your review. Usually rugs emit an odor. This should only be of a new rug smell. Generally airing out the rug removes the odor.
