I have a large patio and it has installed perfectly! Wonderful product. I used a hand sprayer to wet the sand multiple times (working smaller sections) to insure it was completely soaked. Once I determined it had plenty of water, it took a full 36-48 hours to dry completely, it is solid!! Before I installed the sand, I sealed the stone with DC Seal and used satin for the second coat on the stone.

Easy to apply, Take your time!
It was easy to apply but you do need to take your time. It took me some time to get used to but in the end it came out great! The first time I did it there were a few spots that didn't harden or washed out. So the next day I filled in the spots that washed out. I them watered it 4 different times about 10 min. I watched that on YouTube and it really worked. Here is the final result.

Total waste of time and money!
Followed the instructions to the letter- first off you’ll never get all the sand off the top with a broom or a blower bc it just gets moved around and if you up the speed on the blower the sand blows out of the joints defeating the entire purpose of the project. I’ve used perma sand before and had no problem but after putting this one down all I have is a sandy mess that will not harden. It also is supposed to be tan but this is clearly not tan it’s white. I’ll blow it all off the patio before it damages the pavers rather than wait any longer for zero results- JUNK!!

Please DO NOT BUY...
This product is crap. I followed the application instructions to the letter. Product left a tan haze on my brand new pavers. Had to acid wash several times to remove the haze. Unfortunately, it also faded the color of the pavers.
Do yourself a favor, find a joint sealer that does not have concrete in it
Find a NO HAZE sealer.

Color completely wrong!
We bought the tan color, it is gray sand no tan color at all. Thought it might be tan after it got wet it did not. We used this to fill around special rock with fossils and lichen on it. It totally ruined the project. We bought more for a different page for project we will be returning. We will definitely find a different product.

This product is ineffective against weeds and is not rain resistant
To begin let me say that the one good thing about this product is that it is very easy to apply. You simply dump the sand, and then sweep it into the cracks. However the effect the sand has on the weeds is not at all what I expected. I actually have two walkways on my property for which I bought 13 buckets of this sand and spent over $300. I did everything from misting the sand once I had finished applying the sand, to keeping it bone dry for the next 3 days. Nevertheless, it rained the next week, and the most of the sand washed out and splashed on the pavers. The sand that was left in the gaps had indents from the raindrops. Although the one walkway was washed out, the other one was fine regarding the rain. However, 3 weeks later, there are weeds growing through the sand. I was very disappointed with the results that were given by this product. This product is good for smaller areas, but if you are doing larger areas like I did, inquire at your local nursery. My local nursery was charging $65 for a full ton of sand as compared to the $300 I spent for a quarter ton.

Great PermaSand
This is a great product, second time in two years using for paver/brick projects, one a small patio area and this recent one being a driveway add on area. I have yet to have problems with any residue left on paver or bricks. The process is not something to rush, use a compactor over the top of pavers with a piece of plywood helps make the joints fill properly. Using a good push broom and plenty of water for the final is key to making end product pop.
