Love Love Love my new sink! I to needed to drill 2 more holes in it for my R/O faucet and soap dispenser which was NO problem whatsoever. I also bought the grids for the bottom to help prevent damage and they look great! Used the special copper silicone too as recommended by other postings for sealing the sealing edge which matched my granite/sink perfectly!

I had actually wanted the hammered copper and was told it was not available. When I opened the box it was the hammered copper not the one shown. I was thrilled beyond words. It is beautiful!!!

Looked at this sink for over a year. Home Depot's website is misleading on the specs for opening alowed for existing cutout. Finally called Sinkology, and was told that it would fit in my opening. Too bad for me in one respect, sink was$75 less in last year's sale. Could not change opening in my existing quartz countertop to accommodate a new sink. However after all the information was finalized, this sink fit like a glove. It looks great. There are a lot of copper sinks out there, but their prices are rediculous. It's only a sink. Would recommend this sink to anyone looking to either install new or remodeling. Shipped right to my door in less than a week.

Good value and Quality
The sink really looks nice. The product was as advertised, although the gage of copper did not seem like 14 gage as advertised. Seemed more like 16 or 18 gage. But who can tell? I replaced a cast iron/enamel sink. The cast iron is heavy enough that it did not need clips to secure it. We mounted it on travertine tile and the tile and concrete base had to be cut out to get the 6 clips past the tile. That turned out to be quite a chore (3 hours). There was a significant film of concrete and tile dust over the whole house from cutting and shaping the tile and concrete cut-outs. If you don’t have a custom tile job, you probably won’t have this problem.. When finally mounted and grouted it looks fantastic. Keep in mind that copper is supposed to look rustic. The hammered finish is suitably gnarly. This sink already had a good patina going as you can see from the pictures. It looks perfect for my kitchen. If you want a “pretty” sink, go with stainless. If you want a cool, rustic, upscale look, go with this. The matching sink and disposal fittings match perfectly but they are of a slightly lower quality--but I couldn’t find alternatives. In summary-more work than the average DiY could do but well worth it. Note: Had the original install been standard, it would have been easy-peezy. BTW-My Physician son said that copper sinks have very strong antibacterial properties. Cleans with just a cloth. No water spots. No staining.

Great Purchase, Beautiful Sink, Solid 14 Gauge Copper
This Raphael Drop-In Handmade Pure Solid Copper Sink is exactly what I had expectations of. I did a thorough research before making my purchase, and I read all the reviews. This is my take on this sink. Perfect. 14 Gauge copper, it didn't need to be soundproofed. The Patina, or natural aging of the copper, is easy to care for. I do NOT use cleaners that would remove the patina, but if I did it would still be copper. I will just let the natural patina age in again. I don't leave food sitting in the sink, so that isn't a problem. It is copper, so expect to have to take care of it. I use the dish soap to clean it, and I towel it dry. That's it. I put racks in the bottom of the sinks so dishes don't just sit on it while they wait to be cleaned up. I keep the food rinsed out of my sink, so again, it isn't a problem, but if it does mess up the patina, the sink is not damaged. Age will bring the patina back. I had a little bit of the greenish hue come up where water sat, but it buffed out with my dish soap, sponge, and a paper towel. If I don't wipe out the water it will leave water spots like stainless steel does, so this sink is like every other sink I have had to keep clean and spot free. I had potato skins on the edge that and didn't get cleaned up right away, and it made a shiny spot, but I like the copper look as well as the patina. I have the Copper Wax, but I haven't tried it yet, I haven't needed it yet. I've had this sink 3 months now. IN SUMMERY: Clean with Dish Soap and Water; DON'T Let Food Sit In It; Rinse It and Dry It. Enjoy the natural beauty of hammered copper. So... this sink is perfect in my estimation. To go with this sink I purchased the drain strainer and disposer flange that was recommended by Sinkology. I purchased the Delta Leland Faucet in Oil Rubbed Bronze and the matching Delta Soap Dispenser.

It's Beautiful!!
Makes a statement! I integrated ours with white appliances, terra cotta paint on walls, white trim, very light oak cabinets. Very happy with product and price.

We love the sink (installed about 4 months ago). We did need to straighten out two areas on the lip of the sink during installation, but no big deal. We get lots of comments on how cool it is and still love looking at it.
